New contest NOT, there will not be 1 vote and 1 show like in FSC. This game is for entertainment and leisure. This game is based on principles other than FSC, and therefore can not compare them. Yes, the similarities between them, because they are based on the country, so what?

AGREE ! I don't understand why this contest MUST be totally different.We don't need to invent some very weird rules and make this game worse,just to make it different . For me,it's enough difference that you can participate for which country you want.T

You clearly haven't read what I wrote . What I marked in bold is one of the principles in FSC Spin-off.

That's why I'm trying to say that mods should prepare new contests.

If there will be 4 mods,one can prepare one semifinal,second one can prepare second semifinal,third can prepare results,and fourth can do something else.

Mods are human too. Why would they have to prepare every single contest?

You clearly haven't read what I said . What I marked in bold is the principle of FSC Spin-off.

And I explained why isn't that FSC-Spin off.

Every spin-off has some theme.For example this month you MUST send song in French language.Maybe next month will be that you MUST send song about cities.

Ok, we have approximately 200 countries around (don't think, but)

1-30 - only the final
31-50 - a semi-final
51-90 - two semi-finals
91-120 - 3 semi-final (extension from 3 to 5 weeks)
121-150 - 4 semi-final (extension from 5 to 6 weeks)
151-180 - 5 semifinals (expansion from 6 to 7 weeks)
more than 180 - (expandable up to 2 months)

So... we'd have 1 contest every 2 months? Fabulous... :?
Come on! There won't be 200 countries or even 100, I think.

Mods are human too. Why would they have to prepare every single contest?

Mods are usually people who are enjoying to prepare that stuff.

Do you think that I would like to be a FSC or some other kind of Mod if I strongly dislike to prepare that kind of stuff?

So,for me it's absolutely not a problem to prepare a contest,actually,it's a pleasure.

You're right, you dont have to create a new, different contest. You can keep as many FSC rules you like. But a contest thats so close to another contest on the forum WILL fail. Why would people join 'FSC lite' when they can join the original FSC with all the history and traditions?

There won't be more than 50 countries I think(if there isn't a rule that one member is one country).

And if there will be more than that,we will have 2 semifinals with a lot of participants +final.

Rules "ForumVision" (working title)
1. You can select any country to participate, Nigeria or Argentina, Brazil or Japan, no matter where you live NOT FSC
2. You can select a song from any period of time (except Eurovision) 1903 or 1960 or 2012 NOT FSC
3. You can change the country that you will represent, but you must stay in the jury of one country for at least 3 months NOT FSC
4. The winner will be able to organize the next contest, if the winner refuses - the right moves to second place (3rd, 4ts etc) NOT FSC
5. Unlimited number of countries participatingNOT FSC
6. Duration of a contest 3 months, if the number of participants will increase, then will be introduced the semi-finals, in connection with this will increase the duration of contest
1-30 - only Final
31-50 - 1 semi + Big Final
51-90 - 2 semis + Big Final (extension from 3 to 4 weeks)
91-120 - 3 semis + Big Final (extension from 4 to 5 weeks)
121-150 - 4 semis + Big Final (extension from 5 to 6 weeks)
151-180 - 5 semis + Big Final (expansion from 6 to 7 weeks)
more than 180 - 6 semis + Big Final (expansion to 2 months)

Well said. This new contest MUST have something unique, that other contests don't have. Something, that will attract people.
Talking about 200 countries like Trece is so flamboyant, we should be lucky if we have 20 countries in the beginning.

Exactly and at this moment that magical touch, that makes it slightly different and unique is missing.

Anyway, it will be as interesting as the 21 Eurovision. There's 45 countries, an average of 10 songs each, in total about 400 songs total. But it is interesting!!!

BUT I do not think we will have more than 50 countries.

Why would we need to extend deadline if there are 3-4-5 semis? You only have to vote in your own semi anyway so the number of semis doesn't matter...

and Korea. There will be about 5 or 6 eastern Asian entries in NSC 86....
