Then what the hell are people making drama about overcrowding?!

Eh, why the hell am I even bothered with this thread.

Because some other members want that we have "language" instead of "countries" contest. And we just saying that English jury (with all countries like USA, UK, AUS, IRL, etc) would be be overcrowded. Similar with Spanish, Portuguese, etc.

A point of a song contest should not be winning. Open a Score-whore contest and send all songs you can hear played by everything tv, radio, toilet, flowers, etc. that popular. And make sure atleast a billion people has heard it before.

Anyway, You can win with them in a uzbek language spinoff. And there was a Uzbek song in NSC, and guess, what, it did pretty good.

No, because you will be representing a different country on equal terms. It's not like that in ROW (where your country is not even named) or WL (where you can't take part in the main contest)

But you won't be happy representing that country because you wanted to be in another country but you were kicked out

There are enough countries in the world to choose from.

Why do languages only need to be official? An average country has 45 different spoken languages. And if you only count the official ones, it is still over 2. List of official languages by state - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That are all small minorities in country and how possible is that there are singers in that country to sing on that languages and especially to find some decent song then.

This is the language i said earlier i wanted to represent By which i mean, creating a separate jury for all imaginary languages. And i already have a couple of potential entries on my mind.

Wouldn't spin-off be better (for 1 edition)?

Ofc but if you want to represent let's say Mali, you'll represent Mali. What's the point not letting people choose their countries? Crowd? No big deal.

Poll is only solution. We can discussing until infinity and obviously will not conclude anything. I do not waste time anymore on discussing. Hope for poll to be opened soon.

I didn't say I will whole time play for Croatia.But here I will see many countries that I don't see in FSC.

Then why would you and the 2 other Croatian guys be fighting for it?

I was initially in favour of a new contest (and I still am as long as a new contest has a basis to it and a proper reason for wanting to start it) but I am not in favour of a selfish contest which was made because some people dont like a contest, so they make up their own rules to suit themselves. Some people here are putting their own personal agenda ahead of the community consensus, which is wrong. It's clear that most people do not want a cheap rip-off of FSC or NSC, yet some people keep insisting upon it.

Could you stop with the waiting list already? You will be able to choose another country. And knowing some people, they will only choose the most obvious countries, anyway.

Why would I? I mean if I can't even choose my country, why would I stay in the contest? (not me ofc, speaking in general)
