No one's denying you that. The contest can have 300 juries and 800 members, but there has to be something about it that makes it different and unique. The plans put forth so far are decent and acceptable, but they are a little too close to NSC and FSC rules. From the proposals so far, the new contest should be called 'FSC unlimited'
I really do not get why so much forcing looking for some "innovative ideas" that will not bring anything but some kind of restriction to this game. We are all here (and in FSC & NSC) because of music, no? So, let just enjoy the music without any restrictions and that is it. Why it has to be "language song contest" to be more interesting and to differ more than other two forum contests? :? For me contest without limits and equal rights for all members. (What is not in FSC and NSC ) as Trece said is simply enough.

And sorry but no one is basing voting by views on the video. This is most no sense thing I heard in a while. Based on that Croatia or any smaller country would not have chance to do well in any contest because singers in that country do not have so much viewers. That is not connected with songs quality. And I can say same if there is language rule because songs will be watched at youtube and voted on same way as without rule. I just think that language rule is unnecessary inventing and that anything you add to this is unnecessary. There will be rules and there is enough stuff to be different than other two contests.
