Re: BULGARIA 2012

But she is famous looong time before Inna. :D She anyway has better songs IMO. Not less cheap, but more local sounding.

Desislava is great, she'd be the perfect choice for Bulgaria.

But I agree that that song posted on the previous page do sound like a cheap Inna copy, it's not very representative of her songs.

Re: BULGARIA 2012

This explains why the song is so bad

Nah, that's kind of unfair.

I enjoy the Romanian house sound, but this song in particular is not very good.

Desislava should stick to what she does best: chalga

^Nah... I don`t think shitty romanian music will work for us. Moldova did that in 2010 and they scored low.

Moldova 2010 was a fun party song, who cares what it scored? But on the other hand Moldova is Romania's sister-country so if they send "Romanian" sounding music then it's nothing strange.

I'm still hoping Bulgaria will eventually send chalga. It's about time to give it a try atleast.

No, I think we`ll see another BNT protege as Poli Genova again.

Maybe Maria Ilieva. I think she`s a reasonable choice and her latest projects are something that the european public will probably like.

The problem is that she`s probably one of the biggest bitches that I saw in our music scene.

Yeah but see what happened with Poli? Even with a good song and performance.

The only Maria Ilieva song I heard was pure cr*p.

No I'd say let's bring on the chalga! There's really nothing to loose and Europe will like it I'm sure as it's very "summer-ish" and all.

I don't think that Poli had a good song :?

Maria Ilieva would be gr8. As well as chalga (but without banal "singing underwear" stuff).

Re: BULGARIA 2012

Bulgaria will participate again in 2012 and the question now is when BNT will formally confirm that. Moreover, they received more money from the public budget to broadcast sports, music, and other events. We will return this year to JESC, so financially this year is a lot better for the broadcaster than the previous one. I think that most of the problems are solved now.
Our broadcaster actually stated after the contest this year that they don't care about the results and we will participate as long as we have the finances. So there are no reasons for Bulgaria to skip Baku ;)
