If Desislava competes, it's better that she sings in bulgarian rather than on english (her english attemps have been lame). If she sends a pop-folk song it might turn well (well, all depends on live performance).

So far we have 2 promising names of the pop folk scene: Sofi Marinova and her.

Let´s see who else will give it a try!!!

If Desislava submits an entry better that she sticks with bulgarian and avoid singing on english. Is not that her english is awful, but as A-lister says her songs on english have been lame.
If she sends a pop-folk style entry it might turn out okay (depending on live performance). And perhaps in the future we can see another big pop folk artists giving it a try (with fast songs or ballads).

Also Sofi Marinova sounds promising with a song composed by kuku band, i wonder how it will be!!
Lets see the next days which other performers are interested!!!

Desislava officially confirmed her participation in the national selection. She will try to get the ticket for Baku with uptempo song...

Hmm interesting! I hope it will be more like her chalga songs than her English project (as pointed out earlier it hasn't really to with the language more than her English songs haven't been very good).

It's kinda nice :cool:

It's the same Vessy that took part in the selection som years ago right but dropped out or got disqualified?

Elitsa is also in for talks?

If all these names are in (Desislava, Vessy, Elitsa, Sofi Marinova, Preslava) then Bulgaria will end up with the strongest national selection of them all I'm sure.

So is the idea to hold a national selection again or just pick one out of all submitted internally?

Vessy's song is released in June or July so she can't participate in our national final with it.

Vessy is a fantastical performer. I went top one of her performances in the biggest disco in VT and she performed great LIVE. I really started to like her after that show.

"New day" is a fantastic song. xcheer
