Well... actually she is the homologue of Jedward in Bulgaria. If Jedward could qualify for the final and get a top 10 placing, Valentina Hassan could achieve the same. This is my opinion.
Bulgaria should send some turbo-folk performers to Eurovision. I think that they would qualify like that.

Here is what I think:
1. Nevena: I love her so much and with a good song she can qualify
2. Maria Ilieva: I don't get why BNT did the NF this year! ,,I like" was eligible, she already hosted the Bulgarian NF and presented the Bulgarian votes, so I think she would've accepted! Top 10 for sure with ,,I like"
3. DesiSlava: Send your bigest name
4. Chalga: I don't know how it will work but it's worth a try!

Maria Ilieva was also selected to take part in the NF, but she refused to do it. However, BNT invited her to be host of the show together with Orlin from Kaffe. She also represented our votes in ESC, so Maria Ilieva is very much involved in bulgarian Eurovision life.
It was very unexpected decision. We confirmed late for ESC and until 10 January there were no internal regulations for the contest. It was expected BNT to select singer and song internally, because there were doubts that BNT have enough funds to make NF. Later that proved wrong, and they decided to shock us with mini-Eurovision . They made it for less than a month, singers had to prepare themselves for less than 3 weeks. It was very, very extraordinary

It was very, very stupid. The artists didn`t had time to prepare themselves and that`s why they couldn`t do some great songs and maybe that`s the reason why we failed this year. Next time BNT has to give them more time to prepare and to present some better ideas.

It's about different tastes, but in fact I liked almost 1/2 of the songs, which never happened before. I think that we should continue with this kind of open selection, but with enough time for preparation. This year it was just too extreme for all:
- 11.01 - Official rules revealed;
- 20.01 - Academy (jury) names announced (55 people);
- 31.01 - Full list of nominated singers announced;
- 11.02 - Final list of songs decided;
- 16.02 - Song preview start;
- 23.02 - National Final;

Weeeelll, as for the NF.... it wasn't disastrous like Ukrainian or Macedonian finals but it sucked. Nevertheless it's better than nothing Fiiiire in my haaaiir ...
