eliot himself sounds fine though. it's not on his voice that the entire thing sounds muffled lol.

I love piano only versions! This song would be pure magic with just a piano, had it been done right.

I hope Eliot gets lots of practice and nails his singing style during the chorus. His vocals are fine but I just don't like the way he sings the chorus (especially he tried to emphasize "you", it was dreadful). I hope it's just a one-off botched performance because I really love the song (in its studio version).

Agree, his vocals seem to be quite good, but there's still room for improvement...

While people prefer the verses to the chorus, I prefer the chorus but hope he doesn't sing it in that way in Telaviv.

There is nothing wrong with his voice. He is a competent singer, but in the first 2 acoustic versions that were posted earlier on, the way he sings the chorus was very weird. He sang it too forcefully on the "you" part and it was pretty grating. This time round, the sound recording is much better and he tried to sing it in the same way as the studio recording. Love it!!

Now he just need to keep rehearsing and work on his expressions coz I am afraid people will not be able to connect with him. And please please give him a great staging. This needs to qualify, can't wait for more 'live' performances.

And on a side note, he looks like Axel Auriant (the French actor, who is Lucas in SKAM France) in this performance, because of his hairstyle.
