I don't get how underrated this one is, if I compare to the Dutch entry which tops the odds right now, since the two are slightly similar in style, I actually prefer this one... both of them are in my top. 10 though, but this one is currently in my top. 5 this year and without exaggerating it's one of Belgium's strongest efforts in the past two decades. I hope it qualifies at least, it really should. The guy looks very young though which is sorta distracting from the song that feels more mature...

This is just ridiculous Alaska49, who are you trying to convince? Imho the Dutch song has more power than the Belgian one, which i also really like. But something's just missing in this song. The verses are great and you're expecting the chorus to explode, but it doesn't. It sounds too basic. Again: not bad at all, but far from amazing. This has nothing to do with the release dates of both songs .

I wish our southern neighbours good luck. I'm expecting a good result. Top 10 in the final is possible if you ask me.

That aside; am I the only one who thinks the chorus is a massive earworm? I don't even like it that much, but I quite often find myself humming it at work. Actually have no doubt that it will qualify if they don't sennek the staging.

I don't really like the song. The main disappointement here is the chorus (I know I know everyone who doesn't like the song says that). But they will certainly qualify (mainly because of the juries) and because, aside from Cyprus, Greece, Iceland and Portugal, semi final 1 is not strong. This UNLESS they don't RUIN the staging like last year and get 20 points from the televoting again.

Yes it is extremely forgettable. When it ends I am like ... this is it?! I only like the bridge and the 1st 15 seconds of it. It is one of the ''beige'' songs of the year for me.

Thanks for posting the video. The sound quality is pretty dire. He sounds very strange during the chorus, he is singing it very differently and it's really not good.
I hope he sorts that out because I really like the studio cut and if he is going to continue singing in this way, he is going to butcher the song.

about acoustic and piano only versions: don't do them. nobody gives a shit. we want instrumentals!!! this song is particular is nothing with just a piano.

eliot himself sounds fine though. it's not on his voice that the entire thing sounds muffled lol.
