Let me be your halo
'Cause we've been through hell and back in only one night
Let me be your halo
'Cause heaven can't wait for us to finish the fight

We don't need a Hercules to bring a man down to his knees
No more apologies
Philosophers like Socrates define yourself, think on your feet
Go sharpen your teeth

We can be CEO
Yeah, you already know
Yeah, we can be the boss
Fly higher than the Gods
We're not under control
And no, no, not anymore
If you feel me, then put your hands up

Let me be your halo
'Cause we've been through hell and back in only one night
Let me be your halo
'Cause heaven can't wait for us to finish the fight

And I'm stronger than angels
I'm fearless in danger
And I will bring dark to the light
Let me be your halo
'Cause we've been through hell and back in only one night

I think I had the right idea
Beautiful, something to feel
For a hundred years
We're gonna be written among the stars
Posing so we're hustling young queens

We can be CEO
Yeah, you already know
Yeah, we can be the boss
Fly higher than the Gods
We're not under control
And no, no, not anymore
If you feel me, then put your hands up

Let me be your halo
'Cause we've been through hell and back in only one night
Let me be your halo
'Cause heaven can't wait for us to finish the fight

And I'm stronger than angels
I'm fearless in danger
And I will bring dark to the light
Let me be your halo
'Cause we've been through hell and back in only one night

La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la

Don't need no
La-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la

Let me be your halo
'Cause we've been through hell and back in only one night
Let me be your halo
'Cause heaven can't wait for us to finish the fight

And I'm stronger than angels
I'm fearless in danger
And I will bring dark to the light
Let me be your halo
'Cause we've been through hell and back in only one night

Is his hairstyle also very popular with teenage boys in your countries? It's quite popular here. I know a 12 or 13 year old who got a perm. 😃

This trend is making a comeback, especially among young people. "The difference from back then is that the curls are styled much more naturally and that this hairstyle is now called Merm," says Alexander Geisbauer, manager of the hairdressing salon Haircutters in the Linz Promenade Galleries.

The term "merm" is made up of the first letter of the English word male and the last three letters of the word perm.

For example, the combination of longer top hair with small curls and short sides and back of the head (undercut) is particularly popular. The curls on top of the head can be styled in different ways: for example, falling loosely over the forehead, as worn by Luca Michlmayr (LUM!X), this year's Song Contest representative from Austria (see picture below). "This variant looks very sporty and is therefore well received," says Geisbauer.

He speaks italian fluently, almost without an evident accent.
He really is a talent for languages. I noticed that in his German. He has really good High German, which not every Austrian has (Pia), and he can switch very quickly to the Upper Austrian dialect, which is absolutely flawless (I can say that). There are not a few examples where a longer stay abroad quickly affects the melody of a dialect.

Outfit for Turin:
516.469.146

LUM!X, who currently lives in Milan, chose the Italian stylist Andreas Mercante and Pia Maria is outfitted by the Tyrolean "Manufaktur Herzblut".

Inspired by the streetwear style that emerged in New York in the 1990s, LUM!X's look is all black: he wears a shiny vinyl fabric jacket, a matching shiny technical fabric t-shirt and comfortable trousers from the “44 Label Group”. There are also shoes by Bruno Bordese and handmade jewelery made from old silver by nove25. LUM!X: “My outfit was put together by the famous Italian stylist Andreas Mercante and has a touch of 90s disco as well as classic streetwear elements. The refined materials together with the shoes and the handmade accessories give my look a unique touch.”

The materials of Pia Maria's stage outfit express special strength, reflect a harmonious silhouette and offer freedom of movement and wearing comfort for the performance on the ESC stage. The design pieces are made of technologically manufactured fabrics, art prints and synthetic leather and are finished with applications, rivets and crystals. The accessories designed by Markus Spatzier, the designer of the "Manufaktur Herzblut", round off the look. Pia Maria: "I came across the 'Manufaktur Herzblut' while shooting the music video for 'Halo'. The parts are exceptional and have a high recognition value. The stage outfit was individually designed and tailored for me - and was also created in cooperation with me. It's great materials and fabrics, the print on my top shows a body jewel that was already seen in the music video, and my absolute highlight is the jacket, which I feel really comfortable in."

I have seen the Amsterdam performance, and it sounded perfect to me. But it doesn't fit into the "Austria must die" narrative, so there is not a lot of buzz around it

Here is the video filmed in Israel by WWB. In the arena it sounded very differently.
After accusations of manipulation in the commentary section of WWB the guy who filmed this video posted this:

Ron K.

I filmed and edited this video. No sound manipulations were done here at all, this is the original footage both video and audio as recorded in the arena, we just cut out some parts to avoid a copyrights block. I must say in the arena I barely heard any vocal issues and it's different to the sound you hear when you watch the show's broadcast that was streamed on Facebook.

our entry encapsulates the toxicity of fandom. From hype to hate. Overdramatizing vocal flaws in the first performance, pulling out the knives, and then in denial over improvements, it reminds me of Blanche 2017, but it’s even worse. the Tel Aviv performance sounds great, the Amsterdam perfect, but the hate is here to stay.

no one acknowledges the fact that Pia is indeed pulling off this fast paced upbeat song on the stage. Before all these doubts and warnings, now the denial and disregard. You should be scared, because this song is a threat.

I understand why people are upset, she sounds completely different in the video above compared the one from the live stream. I don't know why this happens but I've noticed it happening and with few ESC performances last year, if you watch videos from inside the arena they don't sound as bad as in the tv performance.

Anyway they already admitted that the performance in Israel wasn't a good one and what matters is how she will sing in Turin. As long as she sounds good there it doesn't really matter what she did at the parties.
