Voting for Austria is very polarizing. Many fan clubs don't vote for us, others in the low ranks, which is fine. But then there also some really big points.

our entry encapsulates the toxicity of fandom. From hype to hate. Overdramatizing vocal flaws in the first performance, pulling out the knives, and then in denial over improvements, it reminds me of Blanche 2017, but it’s even worse. the Tel Aviv performance sounds great, the Amsterdam perfect, but the hate is here to stay.

no one acknowledges the fact that Pia is indeed pulling off this fast paced upbeat song on the stage. Before all these doubts and warnings, now the denial and disregard. You should be scared, because this song is a threat.

All this "you guys are wrong, they sounded great in Israel" just makes you all sound silly.

Look, I get why folks are upset, but Lum!x/Pia/the Austrian delegation already acknowledged their live performances were subpar and will be looking to improve in Turin, and they'll be making steps to be ready for May. See what it's like then instead of just acting like there's a conspiracy, or acting as if everyone else (and their ears) are wrong.

Being fully behind a certain song and liking it even to the point that you're almost getting tone deaf is one thing, but this conspiracy-thinking is getting a little bit pathetic. Almost feels like a topic of Trump-supporters: totally out of touch with reality.

For you there seems to be only love and hate, nothing inbetween. For example I really like the studio version and I was quite hyped when it came out. I was more than worried after the IC live performance though. Now after the Amsterdam performance I’m more confident again…
