Don't get me wrong, I love the song and want it to qualify because it's a bop. I just like to make sure that we as fans keep expectations in check, there's a chance it might not qualify, but the artist and delegation are acknowledging the bad performances and have noted they've taken steps to improve by the semi-finals. This is the good news the thread should be talking about.
Instead one or two people here have gone quite insane and started accusing 99% of Eurofans of telling lies about the song, supposedly to ruin its chances because we're all scared of it winning. This revisionist re-writing of history of what happened in Israel is bizarre - by all means, love the song, support the song, but pretending that the vocals were perfect in the pre-parties and actually all the fans are wrong and their ears aren't working is... silly.
And now most recently we're creating conspiracy theories about the Eurovision YT channel failing to put enough Halo in their recent content.
The last page or two of this thread have been bananas.

There is a reason why Austria's performance has yet made its appearance on the Israel Calling's Official Youtube channel. All the rest of the performances are up there since the event ended last week (though strangely they have re-uploaded all of them again). #justsaying

Just feeding into the conspiracy theory that they didn’t give permission to upload their „horrendous“ performance when in fact it‘s their record company blocking any Halo-related upload, although current YouTube policies should allow for these uploads.

Please don't open this jar again. The whole saga has had a severe professional and psychological impact on Vince, and after much hesitation he has decided to take a break and seek professional help a few days ago.

Sorry no Lindon did not explain "it" ive seen Lindon and other austrians on twitter claim that there was a conspiracy against Beuno at ESC 2021 and that various media outlets ran hitjobs on him i never saw any of this alleged activity I just want someone to explain to me what supposedly was done to Vincent at the last eurovision

ok sorry, i dont know anything about that conspiracy. I dont think you can explain or find a certain reason for a burn out. I remember that Vincent was accused to be homophobic, which is ridiculous, and had to face a lot of racism (at least in Austria). I would not blame any media. But I think the whole process of finding a song for 2021 was hard for him. Obviously he did not really want to sing "Amen". I think Vincent is an extremly faithful person who easily gets an overload of thoughts in his head. but these are just my thoughts.
