ORF is in full blown krisis kontrol mode ALREADY. And Eberhard Forcher also delivered some excuses for Pia Maria.

Pia Maria will receive a lot of vocal coaching by Monika Ballwein, she will also get in-ear training and they will lower the key of the song to reduce the vocal stress.

I'm blown away that they are even communicating. They actually care. The NDR wouldn't say or do anything.

I mean this is like most hyped Austrian entry by the fandom since Conchita. And Austria had NQ for 2 years in a row. I can see why they wanna ride on this hype and make sure they get their qualification back.

Yeah, I also think the song is sung in an unnecessarily high tune and I am not the biggest fan of these notes, especially when they are not nailed. Paends struggled a lot with her high tune whistling and she was way more experienced

This is so overrated by fans, perrformance in Tel Aviv was a mess and vocals are so weak..they can hide it in ESC, but I do not find it fair TBH..Composition is also weak, like a weak 90s song...I hope jury will punish this in May..

If we flop in the semi, it would be outrageous given the fan support this song has received already. It would not only be a major heartbreak after all this hype, but also a loss to the Grand Final, and a loss for ORF. Viewing figures cut in half for a Saturday night.

We don't demand victory, but making us proud.

I need to recover from the losses of Telemovéis and Limits in 2019.

i guess they (must) know how the pre-parties went... to be honest i'm actually shocked how bad it was, i could not believe my ears. i thought the decision (to pick lumix and pia maria) took so long because they (ORF) wanted to make sure pia maria can sing this live - so i assume she MUST be better than this, i cannot possibly imagine that they did not see or hear her perform live before.
whatever happened there in israel it's still a bit shocking to me.

but yea i'm sure they will improve and use background singers to support pia but if it sounds anything like this in turin i feel really bad and sorry for pia in front of millions of people. i really hope they fix this...

Well, first and foremost they need to fix her mentally. Paenda was clearly shivering on the stage, and I fear worse for Pia Maria.

If she gets background singers, I guess we won't have dancers, which is a pity. I would have loved to see the vogueing breakdown.

Still, I think ANGER with Das Meer would have gotten us nowhere. This song is too drowzy and monotous.

On the bright side, Blanche was written off directly after her first rehearsal with zero points in the press voting. And she recovered from that in a few reprises.

I'm still in shock and afraid of every new video. But I also don't know if it's so good that Warner Music is trying to prevent all release. Only compilations of the worst moments circulate on the platforms. But the first third of the performance in Tel Aviv wasn't that bad.
