Amen, I guess
You said that it's time for us to put
Our love to rest
Dressed in black, you left my neighborhood

No, I never thought you'd bury me and you
No, I never thought we'd die

But amen, amen
Tell me, is this what you wanted?
Is this what you wanted?
Amen, amen
Tell me, is this what you wanted?
Is this what you wanted?
Amen

I bet it's just another funeral to you
But for me it's the end
A marching band are playing gone too soon

No, I never thought you'd bury me and you
No, I never thought we'd die

But amen, amen
Tell me, is this what you wanted?
Is this what you wanted?
Amen, amen
Tell me, is this what you wanted?
Is this what you wanted?

'Cause it all feels like you didn't even try
Oh try, oh try, try to save us
All this time wasted on a lie

But amen, amen
Tell me, is this what you wanted?
Tell me, is this what you wanted?
Amen, amen, yeah
Are you getting what you wanted?
Are you getting what you wanted?
Amen

Just listened to his 2020 entry after a long time and I might be one of the few but his 2020 entry was amazing.
That bassline OMG, don't remember anything remotely close to it in ESC ever before.
I feel sorry for anyone who can't hear how well executed the instrumental part of the song was - from the already mentioned killer bassline to synths, everything :) I hope they can bring something similar with great funky vibes this year as well.

Despite the ban on Austrians in this thread I have something to report on.😉

Eberhard Forcher: "Vincent recorded the final vocals under the direction of Pele Loriano. There is a big surprise in store for you."

Pele Loriano on his website: "We help to create the perfect musical match, weather it's writing, co-writing, producing or musical guidance. We write and produce songs on the cutting edge of time, create the fitting arrangements for tv-shows and compose music for films."

Pele Loriano < Symphonix

I don't expect great things at all. He is so 2019 and even back then he produced 75% flops. And all of his contributions were 100% mediocre. Switzerland was saved by a great show.

Can't ORF afford a paycheck for Boris Milanov and Cesar Sampson? C'mon! So, I find these news rather depressing than exciting.

On the bright side, I get to enjoy other countries more by letting Austria go.

Thats good new. Then the song was probably not written by Vincent himself but at a camp. the big surprise could mean that it is not a dance song. but we know that already.

I was just reading through Eberhard Forchers comments on the song. Eberhard sounds really excited about the song. I hope the song is in a different style than Vincents recent songs. with songs like this he never will be successfull. So far I had quite low expectations, but they a rising again ;-) and it is good to hear that Eberhard still is involved.

Definitely. Though I think he made a mistake with the song choice for PAENDA. She could have done way better with her typical stuff.

The last time, Eberhard was involved and sent the artist into a song writing camp, did not turn out too well either. And under his watch, we got "Alive", which sounded "Dead" on arrival rather than alive, but ok :D

Come on grumpy fellow Austrians ;), it's a silver lining on the horizon. I'm glad they reached out to someone with more expertise on the contest.

Oh, I‘m absolutely glad that EF is on board. If someone can fix that, it‘s probably him.

Let me fix it. I would do it free of charge for the love of Eurovision.

Bueno, you're fired!

See? So easy. :-)

I can't express how low my interest in this years :at: entry is. I have 0 exceptions for it and it's irrelevant for me wether we will qualify in the end or not... Having someone involved in the song who is not Vincent Bueno can only be a good thing. As for :at: I'm hopefully looking forward to 2022.

Myself. Or Zoe. Who'd you rather?

We should agree on doing something crazy if Vincent receives more points in televoting than Zoe.

I don't expect more televotes than zero. That's what we get easily for mediocrity sans allies.

You of course! xkiss
And this comes from a big Zoe-fan!

I am thrilled and humbled by your support. I'd plan to stage a rather modest performance that explodes in epicness in the last 30 seconds. Me spreading giant wings of an angel, drawing out a fiery sword, tossed by storm and fire but prevailing after all.

I love that Austrians are totally owning the Austria page. It feels like an Eberhard fanclub here xheat

I'm not in this fan club. We had one really decent entry from him in 2018. 2016-17 was only ok and after the peak in 2018 the big crash came with 2019 and 2020... 2020 might have qualified but still not a decent entry.
