Same with me. My first ESC year and this national final and that song gave me life. Still looking for 1991 National Final act Three Girl Madhouse

i remember been very disappointed about the performance of three girl madhouse. it was my favourite song, produced by beat4feet, but they sang very awful that night, shy like children first time on stage.

by the way the singer of Papageno was Stella Jones who represented Austria with "Die Welt dreht sich verkehrt" in 1995.

this song is not all new. i heard it sometime last year already. if it was part of the selection then it must have been sorted out in an earlier stage. i like zoe a lot but to be honest i really think she should go for another songwriter. her songs are getting repetitive and still sound like papermoon with a silly beat added.
i know you wish Nathan and Zoe beeing the pop duo. but they are for sure not a pop duo. it must be someone else.

I posted the song in another thread over a month ago, at that time there was no video for the song. It would be interesting to make a duet, I did not think of that at the time. Nathan could sing English and Zoë French. The whole thing would have many advantages. Zoë could convince the audience again and Nathan the jury.

Yes actually it's quite a catchy song though I'm not the biggest fan of her music. I was extremely sceptic about Loin d'Ici in 2016 before the live shows but Zoe did a great job at Eurovision! Wouldn't mind if this was for Eurovision... But of course I don't think so. I have a different opinion on the dance-beat, in my opinion it fits quite well to both Loin d' Ici and C'est la vie. It feels like C'est la vie would do slightly better with the juries than Loin d'Ici but not so well with the televoters.

Maybe we will already get some information regarding this years entry next week, now after vacation time is over... I really hope so!

Agreed on the dance beat. Makes it sound like some middle of the pack entry in the Eurovision of 2005. If you removed the dance beat, I think it's a pretty decent song.

That's what happened to Loin d'ici too. Zoe was only 4th in the national final with juries and Conchita criticized her for the Eurobeat.

Loin d'ici still melts my heart, but the album version is so muuch better and could have won us the contest.
