My Mummy has nice taste this year with her love of Austria, San Marino and surprisingly Lithuania

My mom isn't a fan of eurovision but she loves Conchita and really wants her to win. I think she might even vote.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. :-)
I really love Conchita's performance and of course I wish for her to win on Saturday. I voted for her in the semi-final and I will certainly vote for her again on Saturday. There are other great songs this year that I like but Conchita just blows them all away.
My dream is for her to win and then she should present the ESC next year in Vienna. I wonder what Russia would do in such a case. If they didn't want to withdraw from the competition, they would have to congratulate her at the end of the show for being such a wonderful host. A fascinating scenario! ^^

ok, everybody's mom liked Austria's performance, but how old are your mothers?
mine is 61.We don’t have “drag queens” in our tv shows neither openly gay characters (homosexuality is more a private matter here) so her presence was innedite but my mother is watching Eurovision every year so eccentricity doesn’t shock her. She appreciates good songs/compositions (ballads in general) and she doesn’t enjoy cheesy pop, parody. She (still) view Eurovision as a song creation contest, so you can get her attention with strange appearance, amazing staging & stuff but she will not send a SMS for that, she send SMS only if she likes the song. She liked Austrian song and she said the performance was impressive, very good. She wasn’t impress with Semi 2, many mediocre songs, she didn’t like Romania either.

Seeing Conchita was not a shock, seeing Tom will be a surprise, because no one would expect that
