On Twitter and some forums yesterday appeared information that Conchita received an invitation from the organizers of “Pride Parade Belgrade 2014″ to attend the walk, which is scheduled for May 31st, but it is still not known if the parade will be held, the daily writes. According to unofficial information, Conchita enthusiastically accepted the invitation to visit Belgrade and Pride Parade. So far there is no official confirmation that Conchita Wurst will come to Belgrade, but some in LGBT circles believe that this is a “done deal”.

It seems androgyny is having a revival in pop culture, now that the 80's are long gone........ I like it!

I completely understand that people are upset with an act winning instead of a song, but you have to understand that Conchita's performance trancended any rules. In the end it was about something bigger than the song. It was art in my opinion, and I think something that rare deserves recognition.
Also, this year had no obvious smash hits like "Fairytale" or "Euphoria", so I guess it all had to come down to the performances, and in that regard Conchita deserved the win.
