@A-Lister it is not in Azerbaijan's hands...

If Armenia chooses the best song they win... but I don't think it will be the best song.. BUT as I said they think they choose the best song :D

Well it shouldn't be in their hands, but for sure they won't allow Armenia to win.

To think that ESC is not corrupt is kind of naive sorry.

Anyways, let's see what Armenia send, atleast they are in.

Re: ARMENIA 2012

I don't think so, Azerbaijan will never allow Armenia to win this on Azeri soil.

They are entering to partly make a point, but I think mostly because this contest is an important tool for "new" and "outsider" European countries to make a name for themselves.

how can we prevent it? very funny. personally I don't care if they win or not. let the best be the winner.

We'll see...

Agree with the last part though.

I have a feeling it will be France this year.

Quite surprised at this to be honest, it seemed like it was all a big game for them to opt out in the end :p Not that I'm too thrilled by it, to be honest

I am not too surprised to see Armenia, if they really wanted to withdraw they would have told us a long time ago. But I'm really happy to see them in Baku, it is quite a big deal.

Great to see one of my favourite ESC countries are finally in. The only way it can go wrong now is if they call their song "We Don't wanna Back U".

+1 :/

Glad to see Armenia have bitten the bullet (not literally, of course :p) and decided to take part, but I do wonder what all the drama queens of the forum will do now, when they cant speculate over Armenia any more? xshrug

Maybe now that the speculations are over things will calm down...I'm pretty confident they will.

^I really hope so. I got sick of this 'will they? wont they?' thing months ago. It would be great if all the news about Armenia could switch to music now :)

Hopefully this is a start to better relations between the two countries (we can only hope!)

Peace everyone!

I wouldn't be surprised if they let System of a Down do their political entry now...the timing is right I guess :?
