It's actually sad that UK people and Gre to try put down Sweden's (and other successful countries in modern time).

We was successful 1959-1998, only in two of those years was we outside the top 10. We was top 3 every year between 1967 & 1977 apart from 2 where we was 4th. Seriously just drop it because we can all jump on the who was more successful train, and a few good results over the decade doesn't make Sweden more successful.

Well, many countries have up and down during the years.
Ok except Portugal, that was never up.
For example, Greece is much better with televoting (2001-2008), than with juries (2009-2014).
