Rezarta and Klodian's duet
It feels so good to hear a ballad that sounds like a fire hazard. There just weren't any last year that went that far. I feel satisfied in a way I had forgotten about.
I also love Erga Halilaj's (
) song. Her low, sexy voice in the verses makes me enjoy the sound of the Albanian language, and the chorus is sincere and effective. Orgesa Zaimi is my other favorite - I predict everyone else probably hates her voice, but she has that plaintive, raspy sound I always really like.
Which entry do I not understand at all? Besa Krasniqi! wiwibloggs likes her song because it's "radio-friendly"... I agree with that description in the sense that if it played on the radio, you could continue your conversation over it without ever noticing it. NOTHING. HAPPENS. It's almost the same line over and over again. Apparently she's the biggest name and she's from Sweden, hopefully this year's jury isn't fooled by things like that :?

It seems that although today and tomorrow there will be the semis, the qualifiers to the final will be announced on Sunday around mid-day.

I can't wait for tonight! It's like two Christmases on one day!
So many good songs this year! I'll be thrilled if one of my top 5 songs will end up flying the Albanian flag in Stockholm!
My top 10 before the semi finals is:
1. Orgesa Zaimi
2. Eneda Tarifa
3. Lind Islami
4. Jozefina Simoni
5. Rezarta Smaja & Klodian Kaçani

Besa Krasniqi is the best choice that Albania could easily make this year.
Of course, there are many other songs which are very good in FiK (I'm surprised when you see the results in 2013 & 2014...
) and if she doesn't win, that'll be very cool to see an other favorite.

Late start of the NF season,but that means we'll get more songs in a shorter amount of time

Not at all, last year "S'te fal" finished in the 3rd place as I expected, and "Diell" was certainly the most modern song in last year FiK.

But they never choose smth modern..they always pick smth dated and horrible in that NF festival..

That sounds a bit weird, but "Diell" was (in my opinion) a good song even if many people thought it would have drowned in the first semi-final.

Concerning this first semi, I would personally qualify these 9 acts:
Egzon Pireci- Triumf
Adrian- Jeto dhe ëndërro
Dilan Reka- Buzëqesh (cute and interesting, I enjoy listening to this one)
Luiz Ejlli- Pa mbarim (the music reminds me some power metal bands)
Nilsa Hysi -Asaj (perhaps the best of the semi)
Erga Halilaj- Monolog
Florent Abrashi- Të ndjek çdo hap
Teuta Kurti- Në sytë e mi
And I would give the ninth spot to Orgesa Zaimi even if it sounds weird and a bit tiresome in the end.
