In this interview she says that they have already decided on the language, but she doesn't want to make it public yet.
...for she fears the wrath of the A-lister!

Why the heck do they call it Eurosong?
I guess if it is in English, we can't accuse them of doing it because they thought it was what everyone else wanted... Hersi just really, REALLY wants to tell the whole English-speaking audience not to be a **** and ruin your friendships
I listened to the interview. She says that they've decided on the language, but they don't want to tell, only when it comes out as a done deed, because they don't want to arouse polemics and heated debates. I guess this means it's in english, if it is for the foreign listeners to complain, although it could be albanian if it was for the albanians to do so. To my mind it is english, but I really hope I am wrong.
Sounds like they chose English then
I hate this arrogant attitude towards the fans, Greta had the same behavior regarding the Icelandic entry in 2012... atleast be honest with the intentions, and atleast listen to what the fans want...
Oh well, hope for a similar destiny as Greta got then... if she don't got the guts to pull off a "Suus" then she don't deserve any success either...
As a singer I am sure she'd be as good as Suus, looks like she's very talented at what she does. Rona though, was a co-author of her song, the lyrics were hers, so she was very sincere in her interpretation, she meant what she sang. I hope they stick to albanian and keep their originality, and don't understand why they wouldn't tell. I think when it comes to that, maybe Hersi doesn't have much in her hands, it could be that others decide for her.
'Ashamed'?! I wouldn't put it that way, not an albanian of Tirana no, they're not ashamed after they've chosen, they just don't want to go through the trouble of having to deal with comments. They have made their minds up and that's it practically, they think their choice is the best and there's no point for arguments, so let's hope it's going to work.....
Well, then why can't they be open with their decision if it's so awesome? I think it's a type of shame, knowing you do something against the will of the fans, and just like you say they obviously can't take the negative comments...
They probably haven't said anything yet because they want to make sure security is in place for when you storm their headquarters if It's announced in English.
