They're quite complex lyrics, I wonder what the translation will be like, I hope something funny and weird doesn't come out of them.....

What a wonderful talent Hersi is.Shes one of those artists that its simply a privilege to hear her sing and watch her perform.
Shes very modest and cares deeply it seems about perfecting her talents, because it comes across that this young woman works hard not for money or fame but because she loves what she does. They just need to drop that intro and start straight from the piano and perhaps rework the guitar bridge.Hersi has amazing vocals, and its crucial she ends the song with a bang.
Hersi would of been a big contender this year for the higher places but with most of the Balkan countries dropping out that has hit her natural vote hard.Still im hoping her quality will shine through and shel get a good result, one she deserves.

There has been rumours that the intro has been removed.

I really, REALLY hope that this doesn't turn out to be true. I know half the people are complaining about it but the intro is special and part of what makes Herciana's song stand out to me.

I remember in 2012 when people were actually calling for Rona to soften her voice in the chorus and take out the screams. Turns out they were wrong therexsnooty

I can see your point on this.It does wake the viewer up.The problem is its far too long though for the 3 minutes on stage at ESC.Perhaps if they shortened it right down to say 4 or 5 seconds then into the piano?.The guitar solo/bridge as well is a big problem. Its dated and takes away from Hersi. It should be removed and replaced with strings perhaps as its a crucial stage in the songs progression. They could even replace it with a few seconds of the intro to link the song better.
I think the big+ for this is Hersi herself nd the backing harmonies. The progression of the song including the bridge should all be designed to show Hersi off, not take the viewer/listener off on a dated guitar solo.

I hope they get it right because its song with huge depth.I have a feeling Hersi will look and sound like a superstar on that Copenhagen stage.

I agree the guitar solo is a problem and does sound quite dated. I have no problem with the intro at it's current length but something will have to be done to it most likely as over 30 seconds need to be removed from the song.

It is an experimental song with so much potential. I think strings in place of the guitar would be great and a lot more sophisticated. I like the live version so much more than the early studio demo so I hope they build more around that.

I agree the live version is better. It comes alive. Its very jury friendly but strings instead of a guitar would like you say really make it more sophisticated and authentic and make it 100% jury bait.
Another key element i think are the harmonies with the backing singers (who were very good). They need to stand out more as they really work and can help link the song better.I can understand why people who love music and the different structures in songs would want the intro to stay but for the ESC viewer sat at home it could put them off as it is too long and a bit harsh (i know its supposed to be harsh).A shorter version that still suits the songs narrative would be a much better option i think.
I think we all just want them to get the song as good as they can so that Herci can shine.

I hope they are not going to tame it because of being frightened from the reaction of the masses. In the end this song is not for the average listener, so they have to work on its singularity and hope for points from the jury. Rona's song did not change much because the composer was a Kosovar, and they're famous for sticking to their identity, Albanians of Albania are quite susceptible to changes, they quite like to be on trend and liked, so I really hope they don't change the song much, especially the intro.

I agree totally. I've also noticed that most of the people that want the intro removed aren't even fond of the song to begin with. I hope they value more the opinions of those of us who love the song now as it is and work on it with us in mind. We like the song because it is special and unusual. There are certainly ways the song can be improved, the production of it needing the most, if not probably all the work. I hope they won't bow down to pressure and remove the intro.

In this interview she says that they have already decided on the language, but she doesn't want to make it public yet.
