I really cross my fingers the Albanian team would see that part of this entry's strength lies in the Albanian language...

I see, well I just wondered whether she or her team gave some new words on that... I guess we'll have to wait and see though. The song may need revamps, but the language is NOT one of the things that should be changed!

I don't know what language she will sing at ESC but apparently she wants to make different versions in English, Spanish and Italian too

Bear in mind that if the entire team is Albanian then they won't see the language argument the same way as speakers of other languages, just because Albanian is pretty bog standard to them, seeing as they speak it everyday.

I don't know what way this will go, but my only interesting is the actually revamp of the music. That needs to be the priority before any changes in language.

Well, internally yes, but they know they're responsible for an ESC entry and if they are somewhat professionals and know what they're dealing with, they obviously have to take external reactions into consideration.

Plus, I'm pretty sure the Albanian diaspora would be pleased to hear their language rather than English coming from Albania (for nostalgic and patriotic reasons), and the diaspora can't be overlooked when trying to collect televotes, on contrary their support is needed. Albania have a relatively big diaspora group in the Germanic Central-Europe and Scandinavia (in particular Sweden), and also there's the Albanian minority in Montenegro and Macedonia aswell.

You're forgotten where the big diaspora are.. Italy, Greece and Turkey (even though they're not in ESC atm). We have small communities in Romania, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia. Diaspora does help yes, but when you look at it.. in 2012 with Rona Nishliu all the countries in SF 1 did vote for us..
