My favorite country in ESC. I've voted for you in nearly 10 years except last year. :(
I'm not a fan of Bonnie, but her song is ok. Maybe I will send you one vote or two on Saturday anyway. :)

Well it's only fair, you are going to get about 10 votes from me for Margaret.

The "tut" that you mention won the contest last year and was a smash hit across Europe and beyond. I'd take that over our recent efforts.

Euphoria only ever worked due to Loreen's hand in it even she said herself it was very typical G:son in the firrst demo.

Anyway I think the staging for this is actually quite good and the voices have grown together more. The song remains dull but interest has been added to the visual elements. It is very much staged with the impression of this isn't being sung first which the BBC clearly don't want.

Im feeling quietly confident after today :D

You were watching a different rehearsal, then?

She does seem much less arrogant than recent UK entries though. She seems pretty cool. Shame about vocals, staging, lighting, the song and other small things like that.

This looks like it's going to be greatxheat

One thing about this year thats going to be remembered and stand out is the staging of a lot of the songs. It's like Melodifestivalen but times it by 10! Theres going to be some epic stuff this year.

I love when Bonnie walks on the lift for the climax.

I thought the bit of rehearsal we saw was very good :) i liked it. Her volume needs to be louder so we can hear her because at some parts you couldn't hear her. I'm also more confident of our position come the grand final.

Am I the only one who expected some pyro or smoke to come out of the bottom of the lift when it started to rise up? I kept expecting it and when it didn't come I was a bit taken back. But overall I was impressed with what I saw and I'm confident in a positive result. :p

I do think her volume will be okay for the final. The clip we saw was at a distance and the audio wasn't perfect, you could hear other things happening around it and you won't during the final. Being the paranoid person I am however makes me think she's singing at a intimate studio level so she can stay in tune and if she sings louder for the audience it will crack, but I'm trying not to think of that.

Seriously? "Love shine a light" is the best by miles and one of the best to ever grace the Eurovision stage.

What about Bonnies voice. I saw an interview yesterday and she wasn´t nearly able to speak. I hope, that she will sing perfect on Saturday.

Damn, i didn't pay attention to the numbers, thought it were places from 1 to 6, blind dork me

Engelbert deserves a higher position and i love Daz Sampson but i understand how hard it is to love that entry to many people ))
Hope the full list will be posted in here, i'm curious.

wow the first semi-finals is in.

Denmark, Moldova, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Netherlands, Lithuania, Belarus, Belgium and Ireland.

omg Lithuania got through? omg. I am so dissapointed with this.
Belarus as well. I was shocked they got through. A very trashy song.

like wise i was very upset Austria never made it. I think they suffered from first place syndrome.
I'm happy Netherlands finally qualified!
