Now i'm praying for Macedonia failing to qualify and Armenia qualifying, that will be epic, no ex-Yugo and all ex-USSR countries in the Final
I wanna see blakan votes flying Greece direction, amen!
There's no way Balkans are heavily voting for Bonnie, that's nonsense.

But Armenia has this year's worst song.... that'd be awful...

I just read :uk: got second half!!!!!

Yay :D
I'm under no illusions that we're going to win this, but this will definitely help us get a decent score. As Bonnie's said, she just wants to put in a good performance and get a decent result. A good position in the running order is really going to boost her chances of getting on the left side of the board :)

Also we've eliminated the most powerful of the voting blocs tonight, all positives!

muahahahhahaha our evil plan is coming together  (O)T()

I just read got second half!!!!!

oh thank god for that. So that's 13th position at the lowest in the running order? wooo. Lets just hope we don't get slammed between Denmark and Ukraine or Denmark and Sweden. As long as Denmark comes before us! hahha oh got me worrying now.

also where did you find this out? i want to read for my self.

Sweden is pretty bland, no way that's a candidate for victory. I think SVT will give the UK a position above 20th in the running order, since many people still recognize Bonnie Tyler, and will want to wait for her performance.

You mean to get higher viewer ratings and to actually keep those viewers tuned in? i guess so.

also i think i got kinda in the moment... i found Sweden's rehearsal rather mediocre earlier.

UK performance today was shocking vocally. Bonnie admitted as much herself.

Bjorkman probably has no strong feelings about this and since it's seen as a non-threat to his favorites and the chosen ones it will probably get a good draw later in the show.

This combined with a solid performance (as all the rehearsals are pointing to) will result in a pretty great final result (top 10 hopefully). So I will be happy to see my #1 not flop.

Bonnie has a little cry at the press conference. Have to say that she comes across as a really lovely person. So genuine and warm.

I think her rehearsal was OK...you can never tell with the camera vision how it's going to come across on TV! It always starts off so low and makes me think 'ooooh dear' but I think it will be received well. FINGERS CROSSED! Now that we know it's in the 2nd half, it has more of a chance of coming top 10 which would be a step in the right direction!

I would be shocked into cardiac arrest if that troubles the top 10.

Okay, I'm not sure how this is going to do. It's a really nice song by a great person but after recent years, I don't even know anymore how to predict UK entrants. It certainly is much stronger than last year's entry and Bonnie Tyler is a world famous superstar, a lot more famous than Engelbert. However, being famous is not enough to win a contest like this.

It does annoy me when people say "Oh we could send the Beatles and we still wouldn't win."

Well guess what, even if we could bring them back, The Beatles were a 60s band totally out of touch with current trends and music.

We need a good proper current artist, someone like Adele, who I have always said reminds me of Chiara in terms of her looks and her voice.

Anyone worked out why there is no UK press conference tomorrow? France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Sweden all have press conferences in the afternoon. They also had one on Wednesday like the UK. Has it been canceled so Bonnie can rest her voice?
