So okay, they put a few too many effects in but no way did they need to go subtle.
Well, Georgia sure missed a chance at an excellent placing with "Shine" in 2010 with a messy and over-the-top performance.

No, it really didn't It's a big sickeningly sweet Swedish ballad with an enormous $ note at the end, if anything it NEEDS to go big, because it's trying to get the people who like that sort of thing on board, they're totally going for the "WOAH, ****, THAT'S AWESOME" vote. People who like mellow and subtle are going to vote for things like Believe in Me or Et Uus Saaks Alguse, not two people bellowing WATERFAAAAAALL at each other. So okay, they put a few too many effects in but no way did they need to go subtle. The only thing is that it will be cringey if they badly lose because of how much they're trying to win.
i'm surprised the fire alarms didn't go off.

Bonnie seems to be a bit naive. Strange considering her experience. I think this song will end up in about 18th position. When will the BBC learn that it's not ok to just get on stage and sing a nice safe song. They don't even seem to care that Bonnie's vocals are all over the place. Too much nostalgia and not enough people in charge who know what they are doing. Employ some people from SVT to select our Eurovision song. The BBC can't cut it.
BBC3 tonight 'How To Win Eurovision' 21:30. Russel Kane and Greg James present
How To Win Eurovision is basically a show about how crap Eurovision is. It illustrates the attitude which is exactly why we don't win any more.
As much as I think the BBC are crap at ESC I wouldn't want a load of tut from G:son or Kempe either.
Lets see what Bonnie has to offer in the rehearsal. Only then we will we know what chance we have!
