I want Sarah Dawn Finer to co-host with Malena Ernman: she's funny, she's fluent in French and they're both friends. :)

Björkman invited her at Melodifestivalen 2015 for an appearance, so why not hosting now? :p

Maybe do a mildly schizophrenic thing and ask SDF to host, but make the postcards all have to involve Lynda in some way or other? I'd be amused to see her in each of the participating countries...

On a tad more serious note, my favourite would be Sanna, but I kinda want to see her in the competition too (unless Mariette is there... xheart ) so I'm finding it tricky to choose! Maybe Petra, unless she fancies a go at entering?

Malena Ernman should never host anything on behalf of our country and tax money, we need a professional and not this vile person.

I think she's professional, but if you don't believe so, she could be the entertaining one in the team.
What do you have against her btw?

I acknowledge Petra Mede was very Professional, still she bored me to death. We need someone funny like Anke Engelke.

Well as I said, she's not a professional, and also the host should be a neutral person because it's an honor to host this on behalf of a whole country, and Malena Ernman has been spitting out vile loath against Sweden and parts of its population for the past year. I regret big time that I supported her MF win when she showed what an awful person she truly is.

Petra Mede was funny, Anke? So-so... but it's all a matter of taste... but I agree that both of these ladies are professional hosts, Ernman as far as I know has no hosting experience so I wouldn't even compare her to Petra or Anke in any sense.

I am all for Sarah Dawn Finer though (in or out of character) or Måns, or a combo of the two.

I think Sarah Dawn Finer should definitely host this.

Since it's not popular to say anything critical in this forum (even if it's on-topic) let's not go further into it in this topic... I'm just saying that hosting this on behalf of a whole country is an honor in itself and should be done with dignity and by someone who is more or less political neutral and a good representative for the country and a role model... she is nothing of the likes, quite the contrary... you are free to PM me for further discussions about this.

Yes to the latter! :)

Malena Ernman is an active anti-fascist and anti-racist. She and her mother Eva (retired deaconess) have during many years sheltered refugees who were facing extradition. Frequently engaging SD on twitter and articles.

For example: Malena Ernman vinner flyktingdebatten igen

Thanks, I get a better understanding of what's going with her. I discussed it with A-lister already, but I didn't know she was that active on the subject.

Anyway, I hope Sanna Nielsen and Måns Zelmerlöw will get the honour to host Eurovision and that Edward af Sillén will be writing the script, which of course is equally important. I hope for a simple and classic hosting without any major craziness and instead great interval acts. For me the interval acts usually are an important part of the ESC epicness and when there are few or boring ones I suffer badly.

I must disagree with you, I think it is important to have a person that stands up for things and matters, that this country has been build up with for the last 50 years, but has been trying to be destroyed for the last 10-15 years, both from inside and outside this country. Now I don't think Malena Ernman is such a good host (I don't even think she wants to do it), but there are many in this country (like Sarah Dawn Finer actually, if you check her Instagram for example) that fights for the same matters as Malena does.

If it happens to be a person that hasn't as loudly fight for the matters like Malena does get to host, it is not the end of the world. I don't think that the coming host/s are going to be so active about it on stage either. But it can give a signal, at least here in Sweden, whoever it is that gets to be chosen.

Does Mans have hosting experience? Wether he does or not though I think Sarah Dawn Finer would be a much better choice!

He hosted MF 2010 and has also been host for Allsång På Skansen (A Sing-a-long program sorta) which is aired during the summer.

About Sanna, she is actually rumored to be the next host for Allsång På Skansen, and I wonder if she will be able to host both ESC and APS, I doubt it if it is true. :S

No thanks. There's enough political rubbish in Eurovision as it is, we don't need to add it to the hosting.

Måns is an excellent TV presenter with years of experience (Melodifestivalen and Allsång, as been pointed out already by Schlagerman1). As it was shown in this year's Melodifestival, Sanna is also an excellent TV presenter. They even got the looks which however you view this thing is important. However Lynda Woodruff will undoubtedly appear so Sarah already got her foot inside the show and I wouldn't mind her hosting at all either.

I really hope Sanna will not host Allsång på Skansen. She need something with contemporary music that challenge her image and drives her forward. Allsång on the other hand is in desperate need of a shape up now after two embarrassing seasons. The production's treatment of Petra Marklund was scandalous. I suggest Gina Dirawi, she can sing and most important witty enough to carry the show.

Gina Dirawai did a great job in Melodifestivalen, I really would like her to host as well.
