My dream hosting would look something like this:

A combination of some/all of Petra Mede, Lynda Woodruff, Måns, Sanna, Gina and/or Danny.

xcheers

I have a feeling it will be:

Petra Mede/Sanna Nielsen/Gina Dirawi & Alexander Skarsgård

Måns Zelmerlöv in the green room (he has been getting the question so much and he has said he would see it as a great honor to host)

I'm sorry, what is the "hosts" supposed to mean? There's only one option for me and it's Petra Mede hosting alone. :D
I assume that people don't expect her because she already did it once, so if SVT likes surprises, they might surprise us with Petra. ;)
To all Swedes here: has she commented on this? What is her opinion?

Skarsgård would be... interesting.

I've heard that he accepted to host Melodifestivalen 2014 but then something happened and he turned it down last minute so they used Nour and Anders who actually we're just back-ups.

I don't know, but if I remember correctly Christer said that he is absolutely going to count her in in the process of choosing a host since she did such a great job.

What did he mean? Will there be more than one host and Petra is definitely one of them, or she's one of many options, but doesn't have to be the final choice? xthink

He meant that they are going to take time, discuss and look at potential hosts and Petra is absolutely a candidate/a possible choice

Two people would nice imo, I quickly got sick of the 4 hosts this year :? and they were really bad on top of that.

Sarah Dawn Finer all the way xheart it must be her turn now, as she was my first choice back in 2013 already.

I don't want Petra again, she's professional but I don't like her that much. And please, no ESC participant from these last years: if it's only to have a pretty face and be as useful as a house plant (cf. Eric Saade)...

She has apologized for it and did remove the blogpost quickly. She told she didn't even read the book much, she got it on some lecture, and that she didn't understand what the book was about or who the writer was until it was too late.

Though she has written and talked about political matters about the Israeli-palestine matter, which went too far and she apologized for that as well.

She is equally old as me, we did even go in french class together and I was in the same class as her best friend. I remember Gina being a very warm and funny person with problems with her self-confidence, which is of course much better now, but she mentions her problems with it every now and then on instagram. Everyone who has been or are young knows how it feels to be overexited and overacting over different matters from haircolour to world politics, and everyone has every now and then said or done stupid things in their life and so has Gina as well. Also being of Palestine-Lebanese origin, makes of course her feelings for this stronger than if a "normal" swede would have for this.

I personally think Gina would be an amazing host for Eurovision, showing off the new, modern europe we live in, with young people that, even if we are struggeling in many parts, are trying to fight for a better tomorrow. If she now wants to host, it is a huge thing and even if she is a great TV-host, Eurovision is one massive thing that can go wrong.

Well if Sarah Dawn Finer hosts it it will be as herself, not as Lynda Woodruff. She is a great host, I think she'd do a very good job.

What's so bad about Gina Dirawi? :?

She's not natural on stage and she's not funny at all, but this is of course only my private opinion. ;)

Gina or Sanna would both be okay for me, pretty much hoping it won't be Måns though.... he was okay as a MF host, but i just don't like him for other reasons  I just hope they'll have "real", serious interval acts showing off our culture, and not silly self-demeaning skits like last time :?
