Now that all songs have been released (except Belarus, but I doubt I will like the artist's song to make a huge change).
I am re-evaluating all songs as per studio form and re-looking into my grading system and how I have ranked the songs according to my personal preference.

The song is now in my personal top 15 (at no .14), so upgrading the rating to .

for me it looks like that the song is only a framework for the very strong voice - not very creative and a little bit brazen bringing a song (not the first try since 2020) with arcade vibes.

The song has a highly different melody, only certain aspects of the production are similar. I like this one better than 'Arcade'. And it's not just a framework for his voice, if you want something that imho was such than I recommend you Lindita Halimi's entry for Albania.

I swear, I can't get this song out of my head! I downloaded it from iTunes a couple of days ago, added it to my Spotify library, and practically listening to it a couple times a day - that's how amazing it is for me

Despite the funny camera work, poor video quality and questionable fashion sense; I think her speech delivery is OK.
Also, she looks like she rehearsed well before recording her reaction.

I also liked her honesty, and not sugarcoating her reaction.
I hope she can improve on the technical aspect of the video.

I just can't believe that channel (of course not our incompetent public broadcaster) brought Gjon's Tears to one of the most (in)famous gossip TV shows here in Spain This is at the same level of randomness as FloRida featuring Senhit OMG.

Btw, I think this songs fits Gjon's more than last years'. I'm speechless.

I believe you must be in a certain mood to listen to him sing. He got a great voice but his vocal tone is definitely not for everyone.
You can either get used to it after multiple listens or it will grate on you the more you listen.

Okay I'll try to explain briefly. Telecinco, a private channel, made a documentary about Rocío Carrasco, the daughter of one of the most famous flamenco singers here in Spain, Rocío Jurado. What was the point of this documentary? Exposing Carrasco's ex-husband who was supposed to mistreat her for many years and convincing their children her mother was a horrible person. This means she's been struggling for more than 20 years and with every single tabloid and gossip show against her, to the point she attempted to commit suicide. I'm normally not into these kind of stories, and neither is Spanish society, but I think it is a way to show everyone how women are often ignored in terms of sexist violence.

So, I guess they just set Tout l'Universe as the soundtrack so that they invited Gjon's to perform yesterday. It's still surprising for me that he accepted to appear in such a show that does not have a quite good reputation in Spain.

Anyway, I am starting to resent how overrated this vocal exercise has become (over Voila? Really?) and it's bleeding into opinion of Gjon as well. x___x why can't we just lave nice things.
