It is pretty lovely, but rather forgettable and live could be a big mess unless someone sings it behind the curtains instead of her. I warmed to Flame is Burning only after ESC 2017 season, but I give it a chance: :5:

Of course, they will make it through. The diaspora is enough for this.

The song is good enough to allow Julia to achieve a top 10 result, that's it.

exactly what I expected. couldn't have been anything else. It's definitely better than Flame is burning, but it's totally forgettable. Unfortunately we'll hear it in the final - because it's Russia. The song does not deserve it. Icelands song is in the exact category and both song and singer are a hundred times better. But of course, Iceland will stay in the semi. Kinda spoils the fun for me a bit.
I'm just amused when I reread now all the speculations about slavic folk tunes or hard rock that we could expect from her.

Well, it's a better song than the proposed one last year. That said, I find this quite monotonous - it doesn't move me one way or another.
Sorry, Russia :(

I love Yulia and I'm so happy she achieving her Eurovision dream but she really needs to work on her singing. The chorus doesn't even sound like its a human singing it.

Does the song suit her, not sure how strong her voice is or not? Last year's song seemed to have a sweet sound to it and may have worked better. It's like they went for something more contemporary chart sounding because of criticisms last year but that's not really a great idea often.

So... not bad Russia, seriously.

This could turn out to be so cheesy and sentimental, and... yeah, it is but not to the degree you would expect. It sounds current, actually pretty dignified, the chorus is simple but infectious as hell, the production sounds a little too cheap but not as much as I was fearing. The lyrics, once again, sentimental but never to the point of making my eyes roll.

A nice effort, can't say this could be a winner but, hey, I'll remember this.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised, a solid pop ballad from Russia that's not about peace (if it is they're covering it well). 7 points from me and probably a definite qualifier!

I like it actually! It has a very interesting beat. I'm just not sure of how Yulia will be live.

I didn't like that there was no reference to her wheelchair in the music video. It's like they trying to hide it or something.

i can't even hate the song because all my hatred went to flame is burning last year

it's still bland but at least it's not about peace

This did absolutely nothing for me. I don't think I will voluntarily listen to it again until the contest. I am happy we don't have to worry about Russia winning for another year.:)

No matter what this sounded like it would've qualified. It's just a shame it's the bland, boring, heard-it-all-before ballad we all feared it would be.
Had it been in Russian that would have at least given it some charm. 2 points.

I would be slightly surprised if this qualifies. It may be Russia, but no country will stay 100% forever.

No peace lyrics. :D It's an ok entry, I hoped to hear something fun and in Russian, but it's ok.

I actually like it.
It has a nostalgic feel to it, yet it sounds so fresh.

Reminds me of Anggun - Snow on the sahara

I had to check the lyrics to understand what she says though.

That can be solved with some practice.

Here it goes for you, 8 points ! :ru:
