Flame Is Burning sounds so cheap compared to this.. they didn't even plan to participate last year when they can give you this.

With each listen i like it more and more... it has some "stellar/cosmic/nature" feeling in after chorus when see sings about emotions/motions/oceans.. if she will fix her english then it can be top 10 material. [7] From me. All who put 0 are animals.

I like the song actually, it is nice. The biggest flaw for me is her voice and English, ofc I know she has disabilities that affect her speech but it's not like I can Ignore the singing. Overall, it is miles ahead of last year. Any doubt in Russias qualification chances are gone now, i'm sure they will make it. 6 points for a decent song.

Putting politics aside, I think this will be first time since 2013 when I actually will root for Russia. I find myself really enjoying this song and relistening it regularly. Maybe this is because singer is sincere which I didn't feel in all previous Russia's entries. And I definitely would prefer it win over likes of
Many people say this is too "generic, Swedish/Americanized sounding, copycat" but there are moments like 1:04-1:14 (in video) that sounds 100% Russian. I can identify Russian song by snippets like this that give me flashback to 2000's Russian music

It's incomprehensible if you watch the video. Well, all Europe knows her story now anyway.
I think they will go for sth similiar on the stage, not focusing on her chair but her face

No-one is trying to distract anyone's attention from her wheelchair. Gush, one could also say that your "obsession" with her wheelchair is as if saying that her personality and whole being is equaled/predetermined by it. She is much more than just a person in wheelchair. Last year, if I remember correctly, everyone was complaining that Russians are using her and her condition to move people and arouse pitty in us. People will never be pleased. Just enjoy the song, if you really like it, and like Yulia for being such a positive personality as she is despite all the misfortunes that hit her hard in her life. And please, don't look for conspiracy/intrigue where there is none!

I think you misunderstood my comment.
I actually meant exactly what you meant. I don't think Russia is going for a conspiracy plan or anything.
I think they are already fed up with all the accusations and so is Yulia, so they only want to focus on her song and her voice, they want people to enjoy the music without people fussing over her disabilities, which I appreciate.
She deserves the best, after what she went through last year.
I am not one of those people who think Russia victimized her on purpose
