I have a question.
Every year in March there is the draw.
But 5 countries have wild cards to select their draw position. (2 from each semi, and 1 from Big 5)
Last year i remember it was Finland (first half of 1st semi) Ireland (2nd half of first semi) ,Ukraine (1st half of second semi) ,Lithuania (2nd half of second semi),and Spain from Big5.
So my question is=>Does this procedure remain also this year?Or not?

No, I don't think so. This year the producers will choose the starting-order, there won't be a draw.

I really cross my fingers this idea will be scrapped till next year, it's probably one of the worst changes ever made to the contest.

But,this can still remain, and also the producers choose the rest order.

Playing the devil's advocate here - but could it be that they will split songs in pots (like in the allocation draw) according to the genre and draw them accordingly?

Say, split ballads, midtempos and uptempos and then, since starting with an uptempo is (in my opinion) a great move, they will draw a song from the uptempo... and so on?

Well, that's been proposed in here and I could totally support that... but the only thing we know now is that they will totally decide the running-order on their own without a draw or chance... which is idiotic, corrupt, unfair, undemocratic... etc.

I've been so disconnected of Eurovision news that I notice now about this new rule that producers will decide the draw

IS THAT SERIOUS???? ARE THEY DUMB????? I mean... You don't have to be so smart to know that everyone will complain if they don't like their draw. EVEN MORE complains!!! Seriously these EBU reference guys think this mess is worthy just to avoid having 4-5 ballads in a row? That's happened in the past and audience ratings were not so damaged.

At least there could be a draw for the countries in the first half of the Final (1-13) and the countries in the second half of the Final (14-26).

All the more to blame failures at slots #1, #2, #3 and similar early positions!

They will probabçy make one rock the last and one rock the first in the 2nd half. According to what SVT says, they want to make the same genre songs separated one from the other. Let's see if they'll keep their word.

The trouble comes in the final. As the article states, Norway and Denmark are the most likely to win, so far, and they are both host's neighbours. Fixing the order between these two will probably mean fixing the winner. How can they get away with it?

SVT won't help the neighbors, you can trust me on that... they don't even like Sweden, so why would they help our neighbors?

I wouldn't be worried about that thing, I'm more worried about other things.

Out of the songs chosen so far, I think their draw in the semis will be like this:

Semi 1:
Ukraine 3
Denmark 6
Belgium 9
Lithuania 14
Belarus ? (depends on the new song that will be chosen)

Semi 2:
Iceland 2
Finland 6
Albania 11
Switzerland 15
Norway 16

But it is really hard to say anything about the draws already, gotta hear all songs before judging that. :p
