Surely they get more points from other ex-yu countries than Switzerland.

Yes, but not good enough. Slovenia is kinda an outsider, that's why I think they fit in their pot. Even if they get more points from the ex-Yugo, they can't really count on them much...

I didn't mean that they get more from those Central-European countries, just that they get almost as "little" as those generally speaking... so they don't really have many beneficial friends.

It's kind of strange. In 2012 Bulgaria was in the last pot with Austria, San Marino, Slovenia and Slovakia and now we are in the Cypus-Greek pot with Belgium, Malta and The Netherlands.
I wonder what has changed so much in our voting patterns for 1 year.

From esctoday.com: "Denmark and Norway have already been allocated to compete in the first and second Semi-Finals respectively, hence we will know in which half of the shows they'll be drawn".

Does this mean that the will be an allocation into which semi AND which part (first or second) of the semi all the countries go?? That would at least make it more fair - much more fair, I would say!

That was always the case. Did you not know that?

Is Israel really in semi 2 or what? I know wiki is not a reliable source, but still I'm just wondering.

Lithuania looks like it's in a strong position. Second half, and both Irish/UK voting.
When Montenegro was drawn for Semi 1, I was really hoping they'd be first half, just to keep up tradition XD

Also, for those who missed it
Semi 1: UK, Sweden, Italy
Semi 2: Germany, France, Spain

Best result of the draw was Greece and Cyprus not together.

Greece still got Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania and Armenia plus possible points from juries of Malta and San Marino.

Horrible draw for Belgium and Austria in SF1.

Let's hope they actually vote for the song, and not just because It's Greece.
