Well....I think that Alexander is back to have fun and enjoy the whole thing and not to win....
To be realistic his song is a NQ but because of his name will be a borderline qualifier..
Anyway in the final it will flop...

ps. Alexander is one of my faves of eurovision all the time but this year he is back just to watch and live eurovision with another way!!

Alexander Rybak is one of the tragic figures of Eurovision, like Ralph Siegel, Philipp Kirkorov and Thomas G: Son. They can't make an ending to their every year participation. I Mean 2009: Winning with Fairytale
2010: Winner Performance of Fairytale at the Beginning of the Song Contest
2012: together with the other winners as act for one of the Semis in Baku
2013: Melodigrandprix in Norway as composer of "I'm with you"
2015 as composer of Franklin Callejas "I'm still here" in Malta and for Milki in Belarus ("Accent")
2016 in Stockholm in the Line-up of "Love Love Peace Peace"... Did I forget somethin?

Hmmm listening and watching this is a half enjoyable half embarrasing experience to me. I absolutalely hated Fairytale so this is certainly an improvement for Rybak in my eyes. The first half of the song I found entertaining, he was having fun and also me. The second half gets too ridiculous with the fake violin again. The song I don't really care about. At least and unlike his scandinavian competitor he can sing so just for that I'll give one more point. A 5 it is.

I have to admit after watching performances, my faves Alejandro and Charla K were terrible live…it was almost embarrassing 1

Doesn't Austria as a country has a quite strong Scorpio energy ? Could be a good result for Austria.

Austria is either Scorpio (1st republic of 1918) or Taurus (2nd republic 1955). I tend to think it is Taurus, because Austrians are bit slow and lag behind trends.
