This is a new exhibition, they sing very well this song called ANCORA, even better of their song presented to Sanremo.
Amazing interpretation!

Why I can't see the videos from dailymotion? Anyway, this must be the video of the performance of the song chosen for the "cover" evening in Sanremo, in which every contestant did chose a song from the past Sanremo contests and sang it in that special evening. It was like a contest in the contest. Nek won the first place of the covers evening, while Il Volo earned the second place.

You got me totally fooled xrofl

I feel like I've seen you in every thread and it never seemed to me you didn't hear the songs

My camouflage is perfect then xqueenbitch I took part in most of the threads indeed, but I generally base my posts on people's opinions and facts from the previous contests. I reckon it sounds artificial but one year I listened to all the entries like most of you do and I will never do it again because the shows impacted me less than usual (I knew everything music-Wise). One advantage to my "behavior" is that the entries will be "fresh" when I Watch the shows. The drawback is that I can't take part in 2015 polls and games and I can't say anything about the songs (but Italy and France). :) When you are done with the contest, I'll start making my top 10, you'll see

This the song of NEK, wonderful and magic cover!

Dimmi chi sei
Respiro dei giorni miei d’amore
Dimmi che sai
Che solo me sceglierai
Ora lo sai

Tu sei il mio unico grande amore
Passeranno primavere,
Giorni freddi e stupidi da ricordare
Maledette notti perse a non dormire altre a far l’amore

Amore, sei il mio amore
Per sempre, per me.

Dimmi perché quando penso, penso solo a te
Dimmi perché quando amo, amo solo te
Dimmi perché quando vivo, vivo solo in te grande amore
Dimmi che mai
Che non mi lascerai mai.
Dimmi chi sei
Respiro dei giorni miei d’amore
Dimmi che sai
Che non mi sbaglierei mai
Dimmi che sei
Che sei il mio unico grande amore

The RED part is the cut

Is this part really 47 seconds long? Seems so short highlighted in the lyrics.

I'm sad that they have to make the cut at all, really. I've thought for a while now that the Eurovision rules really should be extended to allow for songs up to 3:30 or 4:00. The flood of pop and simple ballads is, I think, largely a result of the 3:00 rule. Songs that are longer, more focused on building, or less instant generally - like Italy this year - need more time than that to fully flourish. In the absolute worst-case scenario, the change would add ~25 minutes to the broadcast; most likely, it'd add something like 5 or 10 minutes. Is that really such a big sacrifice to make to allow for a much wider range of songs and styles? :?

Still, I'm entirely satisfied with where they've made the cut. I'll be sad to hear that second verse go when we're able to listen to the new version, but it's clearly the smartest part to cut, allowing the song to keep both its slow build and explosive chorus.

Always our fault ( Italy ) : Twisted:
In 1957 the Italian song (Corde della mia chittara) lasted more than 5 minutes and led many protests much to enter the rule of three minutes.
Before 1957 were recommended 3.5 minutes

3.5 minutes sounds great.....those extra 30 seconds could make a whole world of difference to a song without making it too much longer

But there's a danger on what you're doing. You do know what people think about the different songs prior to the show. Don't you get even a little bit influenced to certain songs because of the expectatives you have?

Italy what a song it might end up in the top 5, but it is a definite top ten. Very interesting love stories they chose for their video. Ghost, Back to the Future, and Spiderman. Not ones that you would typically see in a music video except maybe Ghost that one is iconic as a love story. 10 pts.

This radio program apparently played the 3 minute version of the song

http://www.rtl.it/FM

Did any of our dear Italian friends hear it :(

No, they didn't play the 3 minute version. Il Volo talked about it and Gianluca said that they had to cut his part but they played the "normal" album version! :)

So will they cut Gianluca's part??? NO NO NO :(

He has the most different voice in the group, so his part is the one who should stay first IMO.

and he's the cutest one too

They cut the whole 2nd verse which he leads on, that's probably what he means, but he does sing in the first verse which they kept :)

This fan made an edit based on the official edited lyrics but also noted, "I cannot avoid the "passe" at 1:52, but that's where the confirmed change occurs... As for the intro - just a guess!"

So until the CD comes out and we hear the professional edit I guess this will have to do :)

Unfortunately nothing new, the same things they said in other interviews...

However RTL is the most followed radio station here in Italy, good for them (and for the Eurovision!) :)

When I read the lyrics I thought: "Oh my God, what did they do???" but then I start thinking how it would have been and I think that the song is good also this way (maybe better than the original for the Eurovision!) The part where Piero sings "dimmi perché quando penso, penso solo a te..." etc. is actually a good brige between the first refrain and the second refrain, perfect to decrease the power but also maintain the right tension before the final
