I am such a fangirl of him. He's to me what Mans is to the rest of Eurofans :D

My sweet Nazio xlove xlove xlove xlove
The prettiest male of the Contest (sorry Mans :D)
This is supposed to be a SONG contest, but damn it, it's almost impossible to control female hormones when you have a dangerous combinaison between amazing stage presence, beautiful voice, amazing sence of humour and a pretty face. xheat xheat xheat

It's quite embrassing, since I'm few years older than him LOL

The really sad thing is his part at the beginning, before the first chorus, may be the part that will end up on the cutting room floor when they cut the song to 3 minutes...or at least a majority of it xcry1

Hum... I don't think so. May they'll reduce the beginning of the song (I LOVE those 10-12 seconds) AND probably one of the chrous will dissappear. In any case, I HOPE that they don't change anything at the end, because it's so f*cking epic xheart

I'd cut Gianluca's second verse after the first chorus. If Ignazio doesn't get to sing his solo, Italy is doomed!

Won't be too hard, that comes easy enough to them, plus they're polyglots, so they'll charm the girls in Italian, Spanish, and English! xheart

Could you explain to me how they will have a chance to talk? Isn't the Italian entry supposed to go directly to the finale? How does it work? I watched the last year finale, but there were no interviews at all. I am new to Eurovision. Thanks in advance

Yes, they are going direct to the finale. However, there are still interviews all participants conduct with the media, as well as press conferences that are held after rehearsals and, in the case of Italy, before they draw their running order in the finale.

Thank you! So, as they get the chance to talk, they will be able to draw some attention. They did countless interviews.
How are the rehearsals? Last year I have read Emma was very tired... I wonder why...

I saw the press conference last year after Italy's rehearsals and I don't know what was going on with Emma, it seemed like she might be ill?

so this is the big one huh ?? the one slated to win the whole shebang. well what can i say its dramatic and well sung, kinda beautiful and utterly silly. it sounds like the composer has a hard on for bill conti. when i watch this one live i have no doubt that when it comes on, ill expect to see rocky in the background pounding on a pigs carcass or running down the aisles with his hands in the air.

little italian men taking themselves way to seriously is always hilarious no matter how dramatic they try to be

It's still doing my head in that the geeky one reminds me of that irritating character from Emmerdale :p I will just have to focus on the other two :p

My opinion's not changed on this song though, it's fantastic. 12 points!

Piero says about Eurovision:
"When we do something we always work hard. Taking part in Sanremo has been a great emotion, as well as win it, but now our big objective, our next objective is to bring Eurovision to Italy. We don't go there presuming winning, but for sure we go with the will of making Italy to get known, in Europe, to carry on high the name Italy, get Italy prove its worth at the Eurovision. Well, let's cross fingers, you never know."
