The boys with their press award
just ignore the other guy in the picture if you can
Il Volo is in european music charts from Sanremo, I don't know exactly how many copy they sold, and is still in more than 30 country only on iTunes. And, most important, the song is in italian, there is nothing else to add.
And there is no need to say bulls*it to justify the big shame on the jury results. All the world saw what happened. In Italy there is some rumors but we take ease on ESC, we know what genre of song win every year. Il Volo brought Music.
I'm really sad with the result of Spain and France too, they didn't deserve 21 and 25. Expect some Big withdrawal.
ps: Supergirl, I know that you like your country song, but be honest with yourself at least, on roles reversed what would you have said? Be honest
In the Televoting -
Italy received 14 (!) TWELVE points; 7 TEN points; 6 EIGHT points; 7 SEVEN points; 3 SIX points and 1 FIVE points from Ireland. - those all of the countries!
Sweden received 3 TWELVE points (from NOR, DNK and Australia); 5 TENS - which three of those countries gave the DOUZ PUA to ITALY and the other two are FIN and Estonia; 6 EIGHT points - which five of those countries gave more points to ITALY and the sixth is the UK; the rest points os Sweden are ranking from 7 to 2 - where every country of those gave more points to Italy except for Latvia and Ireland.
The combined results just smells wrong.
ITALY is the real winner for me.
Would it has been fair if Iyaly had won despite their poor jury result?? No!! Many people would have complained against Italy too in that case.
People would complain if the televoting winner had been an ex soviet or a country with many immigrants, etc...one of those countries who always do well in televoting...not if a big 4 country won it and by a big margin, too!
On the contrary, most people would be thrilled because it would prove that you don't have to have 123 allies to win televoting.
As for the 'poor jury result'...well, personally, I care more about what millions of people loved and spent their money on...not about what 200 people appointed by the local channels decided was the best.
Why isn't it in first place in the home country if they are so famous and the song is do great??
Lol, Italy is so weak on the charts. On itunes Sweden is #1 in 20 different countries. Italy is #1 in only one country, Greece. It's only #5 in Italy. Why isn't it in first place in the home country if they are so famous and the song is do great??.
I smell a liarNo, i wouldn't be sad. It's the rules.
That and Italy's song appeals to all ages, so I'm sure it also got plenty votes from older people, who don't use Itunes, but still decided to vote. Also no news site writes about the split results and that Sweden didn't win the televote. When you only have one song presented in a news article, which person who didn't watch ESC, would check out the other songs which competed?Maybe already everybody owned the CD. No need for an Itunes mp3 file.
So in your opinion ESC has been crap in most part of it's history.
Also remember not all people were thrilled about Il Volo's win in SanRemo. Many people thought Nek would have won.
Then why do you those people would have been thrilled about Italy winning despite being only 6th in jury voting. That's thepoint. Whoever wins will get complains AND praise.
Sweden is the real winner. It's jury+televote that counts. Not only televoting.
Would it has been fair if Iyaly had won despite their poor jury result?? No!! Many people would have complained against Italy too in that case.
1st I can't judge what USED TO happen before televoting..because it's like asking me to judge what happened before I was born..lol I can only judge modern eurovision...which includes televoting.
2nd Totally irrelevant. What matters is how the viewers of Eurovision voted, not whatever might have happened in Italy.
3rd I didn't say EVERYONE would be thrilled...but I don't believe that any real eurovision fan would complain because a televoting winner won...unless he came from one of the countries I mentioned above...i.e. had won unfairly. But for a big 4 country? Nope, I don't think any real fan would complain...not even Mans himself, I believe.
And you still occupy this thread. Go home to the Swedish thread. - You have to realize that the people's choice was Italy. Not Sweden! Only 160 jury members saved Sweden. So sh.. up.

So the the winners 1995 and before don't count since the people weren't allowed to vote?
Millions of People are voting for nothing.
I smell a liar
Krishoes and angry have already replied on the charts question. It's not difficult to understand why a song released on february 2015 is not top1 in charts in may 2015, and even now "Grande Amore" is doing really good.
Excuse me?????? Heroes was released 28 February. Not as big differencecas you think it is.
