I have to admit that this song is getting boring and annoying really fast. At first I loved it and was it my favourite, but I think it now has fallen out of my top 5. xshrug It's a good thing most people will hear this once in May.

Exacty thats why I dont understand why people want her to win. Noone will listen to this Song outside of Eurovision. 2 Days Later we will never hear anything about her anymore. No one will Follow her Career probably After Eurovision.

So you know everything about the future, are you? Just wonder.
Is an opera song from Estonia will be more successful? Are we live in the same planet?

Well, Netta only got two other songs on Spotify, both which are fabulous in her special way. Her sense of beats is pretty amazing I think. I wouldn't mind her winning a bit.

People are already listening to it outside of Eurovision. It's had 10 million views on YouTube in about a week, that's not just Eurovision fans or Israelis.

Those are: 'Look at this stupid chicken woman that goes to Eurovision'-people. It's polarizing, in Eurovision that is a good thing I guess.

That argument makes no sense. Not only there is no standard of the qualifications for what a Eurovision winner would require, such as making the Eurovision fans follow her career afterwards (heck, I don't know any song by Lordi, Jamala, or many Eurovision winners outside of their Eurovision songs, and so what? France Gall is one of my all time favourites at eurovision, then again I don't know any other song of her. It doesn't make her any worse of a winner.), but also there is no realistic argument to bring out by claiming no one will be listening to her song after Eurovision. Despite of being one of the most annoying and most ridiculous songs in the history, even Gangnam Style became a big hit worldwide.

I wonder why no one sees the main plot of the song? that males are stupid, cowards and chickens..

Will give it a 6p..decent joke song , i don't see it winning.... if we will look at other joke songs like :ua: in 2007, :ru: in 2012 and etc they all fail in jury and all were better than this.

This song has way more in it musically than 2012 Russia or 2007 ukraine. Those really were just going for sympathy votes. This one wil really get points all over Europe from juries

I'd say the point was not that early favourites can't win but rather that divisive songs can struggle pretty much in the end... (I think :il: is overrated like hell anyway and it's far away from winning but that's only my opinion) Loreen had modern song that ended as a radio hit and Rybak's song was a really solid family song so what should have gone wrong for them? Francesco had many haters though, it will be the same with :il: this year...

I think some hated the Francesco song because of the assumed overconfidence or hype, maybe the ape. But many hate the Israeli one simply as they don't like the music, it could be a fanwank flop (and some of those don't get to the final).

I do understand Oscar and Realest though. I love songs that REMAIN inside me after ESCl. Now I like a few songs, but I also know that I won't listen them after the event anymore. So I really love songs that convince me and that I can listen to later on. But some songs get boring soon after a few listenings. Israel though doesn't count for me because I didn't like it from the beginning. ;)

I'm surprised that so many fans want Israel to win this year. I can understand that many people want Israel to get a good result but I'd rather expect casual viewers who just vote for whatever they think is the funniest to support Israel winning instead of the fans, who care about the contest. Normally the fans take Eurovision a lot more seriously than casual viewers and therefore don't want joke acts to win.

I still don't see the joke in this entry .

I still see a very modern, original and profesionally produced song. Solid as a rock. The best this year, IMHO.
Thats why I want it to win (among two or three others).

The freshest, the most up-to-date yet true to the singer's soul song this year. So fantastic.

Instead of comparing her and her entry to :ru: 2012 or :ua: 2007, I'd compare her and her song to :pl: 2014. This has similar level of freshness and ethnic touch. (Just ironic to compare a song that denounces objectification of women to one that does exactly that)

:pl: 2014 were just making fun of sexuality, girls were on the stage on their own, smiling, having fun.. I never understood why it is taken differently, maybe it was too local. I didn't feel offended. I'm a woman. I'm even Polish :D

When it comes to Israel the chicken sounds kill the song for me.
Also lyrics I'm not your toy you stupid boy sound like written by a schoolgirl. I really don't want it to win

Agree with the first part of your post, but not the second.

Say whatever you want, I'm not even that much of a fan but this is not a joke entry, or, well, it actually has an interest overlap: feels funny and quirky enough to stand out, but the theme is serious and topical. It's not that much jokey that a lot of pop singers that make it to the charts.

That overlap... it might be what it gives Israel the victory.

Speaking of the message, I am a little bit tired of making boys the worst thing in whole universe these days. I am against discrimination against anyone because of gender, sexuality, origins etc. but sometimes it's just ridiculous, how ultra defenders are bashing some opposite groups in the name of equality. Every single social group fights for something, but there is no need generalize, and this song does it.

Just to be clear: I am not saying that this is a big protest song or something that toched me, because I found this song funny itself, but if you do a funny song with chicken noises, just sing about eggs. First impression of it is really catchy, so probably it will end high, but I don't feel like this song is really special, it just faded for me. I'd give her 5 points.

I don't want to start a talk about equality, I just reffer to lyrics, whole song and it's just my opinion and my avarage number of points for it. :d

Why do you feel offended? If you don't feel like a stupid boy that treats people like toys, well congratulations! You have the privilege to not need to feel offended, then why bother?
