number 14 on youtube trending - slovenia xheyaxheat

In Poland it was hovering around number 33-37 for few days (it's not for a while anymore), I think it was the first time I remember that any ESC music video made it. Usually those "trending videos" are mostly jam-packed with local youtubers that are extremely popular and producing their stuff like on assembly line.

The only thing I'm f***ing, is stupid
If this will do better than Francesco or not has more to do with the live show. Francesco ''flopped'' because of the staging was all over the place. Terrible backing singers, way too bright colors from the LED-screens and the overall show where not as focused on Francesco himself and the Gorilla as in the SanRemo perfromance. The year before Francesca had the same problem, but worse with this mess . Rai had to fix this to prevent the repsentation of Ermal & Fabrizio's song being over the top.

In Netta's case, we have no idea how the live show will be. We can only speculate with the references from the Music Video and the song itself. Who knows, maybe Netta and her team will came up with suprises that will blow out minds or this msy end up underwhelming. Only time will tell, Netta are a great live performer as we have proof here.

Yeah. That's what I meant. Francesco was by far no. 1 for a long time and it ended only 6th. And it had less "hates" than Israel. So no, Israel won't win.

I think that's too early to call. It's true, that Francesco last year was a big surprise and an exceptional case of a favorite flopping, but you have other examples of early time favorites who got an overwhelming support in all the polls and finally managed to win, like Loreen, like Alexander Rybak. Just the fact that you are a favorite doesn't explain why a song does or does not win eventually. There are so many other factors, like last year the unique and sudden chance for Portugal to get its first ever win after so many years of trying. Many people supported Portugal also for this, even if the song might only have been second in their ranking or even less. And then the staging, and the overall impression during rehearsal weeks and, and and....

Yes i don't think that Israel 2018 is like Italy 2017!

We need to see how Israel will be on stage!

I'm really struggling to see the similarities between Italy last year and Israel this year.

I know right: Italy 2017 is by far the most ESC-tailored song ever made, while Israel 2018 is among the most daring, original and innovative songs that ESC has ever seen

I don't see anything appealing in this song. Chicken noises are supposed to be funny nowadays?

This would be a good interval act for Jerusalem 2019:

I'd say the point was not that early favourites can't win but rather that divisive songs can struggle pretty much in the end... (I think :il: is overrated like hell anyway and it's far away from winning but that's only my opinion) Loreen had modern song that ended as a radio hit and Rybak's song was a really solid family song so what should have gone wrong for them? Francesco had many haters though, it will be the same with :il: this year...

That's a very bold statement. It's certainly unique but it's nowhere near as daring or original as 'Origo', 'Amar Pelois Dois', or '1944' just to name a few from recent years.

If there's anything I'm waiting for in connection with this song, it's the audience that will be in Lisbon and will hear it in the show itself, so far on the Eurovision Song Contest, almost 6 million views, it's likely that most of them will be in the final and maybe in the final. I remember the Golden Boy in the 2015 semi-finals of the audience "participated" in the song, with applause, with comments. I'm interested in seeing what happens this time.

Ups, you named only songs by male artists. That's not the way to get into Gianluca's heart

I have to admit that this song is getting boring and annoying really fast. At first I loved it and was it my favourite, but I think it now has fallen out of my top 5. xshrug It's a good thing most people will hear this once in May.
