According to some Twitter leaks, five songs that may participate are:
To take with a pinch of salt, but the account revealing these leaks has been involved in some previous revelations (especially last year... for Ireland, already). But still a less funny account than CrystalBallESC

- Nicole O’Brien - Love Me Louder
- LYRA - Love Me
- ADGY - Run Into The Night (back after his 2023 flop)
- Tara McDonald - Make It Rain
Since we got to know that Bobbi Arlo is indeed taking place with "Powerplay". I think that the list is legit/true.

According to a guy that was on the panel all 5 of these songs were on the shortlist but only 2-3 of them actually made the NF. There is still uncertainty in regards to Lyra because if it is her she wouldnt have come through the submission process but the fast tracked process instead.

Oh no I would be disappointed if the selected songs will be worse than the great bunch we already got.
I love "Love Me Louder". It's giving me some Cheryl Cole vibes and I'd like to hear the full song.
"Make It Rain" also sounds interesting, imo.
Wow. I'm really curious now.
I can't imagine Ireland letting these song go... they already sound better than all previous Late Late Shows combined, imo.

It seems some people (Eirevision) got access to the songs first and they gave descriptions
The descriptions were:
I only really recognize Adgy and Lyra from the artist videos above and I don't think Adgy's style really matches up with any of these descriptions. The last one sounds like it could be Lyra though.

From what I gather one of Adgy, Nicole or Tara made the cut, which one we'll find.
From doing some digging I get a sneaking feeling it Nicole that made it but that is just my gut feeling from reading this persons comments.

I was quite sure the leaked list would turn out right because the first song was on that list.
What a lovely twist.
Let's hope the song is better than what we've heard so far (otherwise, Ireland should get back to the initial list).
If Reylta doesn't rhyme "fire" with 'desire" and "higher", I'll be utterly disappointed

True but the original list only had 5 songs when there is supposed to be 6 in the NF meaning we were guaranteed at least 1 song we hadn’t heard of!

Wow, I'm speechless. Is the country to watch out for this year?!
"Powerplay" is a great and bold pop track (I just don't love the vocal effects on the song - otherwise, I'd probably give it 9 pts) and "Fire" is a divine, etheral, mystic folk experience with a very beautiful arrangement.
I think that a few more words in the chorus wouldn't have hurt (to make it more memorable) but apart from that, I'm totally surprised about the quality of the songs so far!
Is this shaping up to be the best NF Ireland ever had?!?!?!
