I just really enjoy this one. But I'm not sure if this is the "right" song for Eurovision. And I don't mean that "Oh, this is too good for Eurovsion" crap. This song is very folky and soothing to me. It's something I want to listen to while taking a bath, or relax on the couch. It's not the kind of song people will go like "Oh, I so gotta call in for that". It's probably something that people may put in 6th or 7th place which isn't a good place to be at. But once again, with decent support from the juries I can definitely see this one as a borderline qualifier.

^ Agree with Matt. I really like this one, it's simple, understated, mellow, and lovely. Great voices, great message. But it's not going to win. I gave it an 8 :)

Honestly, there is no way that Hungary can do so well as last year ;( :1:

Listened to this for the first time. It's a calm song, maybe to call, but it's kind of a earworm. It stayed on my and my roommate's head after the first listening!
The presentation is done in an interesting way too.

Sorry I didn't read the whole thread: is it true Israel made Hungary cut a few lines of this song because it talks about children who died in Gaza?

The song doesn't mention that, the background they used in the NF mentions it, I think (I don't know Hungarian). I heard that they said they won't use the background at Eurovision

That's odd, a few French newspapers are talking about this. You're certainly right, the controversial lines are "2014. Gaza. Les deux tiers des victimes étaient des civils, dont plus de 500 enfants" = (2014. Gaza. Two-thirds of the victims were civilians, from which more than 500 children". It must be the background.

I'm oddly starting to enjoy this song, it's definitely a grower and it might sneak into the final.

This song kind of deserves to qualify. This song has a nice gospel touch and the live can be beautifully done.
However, considering the quality of this year, I am afraid that Boggie will get a result not far from Compact Disco (a song I actually love for its message) but it is just another silly prediction.

BTW, the Eurovision France 2 Facebook page asked this question: do you think she looks like Kate Middleton, Lorde or Marion Cotillard ?

i think if she keeps the staging simple like it was during a dal then she might qualify. she's got a really good voice, and performing a slower song after bojana isn't hindering her.

I have my doubts concerning a hungarian qualification thins year. The song has nothing, that other songs don't have also. From the pot of ballads those will then finally qualify who can add to the musical side a good staging (Hungary was not very special in the NF) and support from friendly countries (Hungary has no visible regular points-donor).
I like the song though, but I fear we will only hear it once this year.

To be honest, i believed that ORF would helped more Hungary in running order.
Austria & Hungary dont have good relationship?

I doubt that the ORF has the kind of "running-order-influences-chances"-reflection. This is something we fans rejoice in, but their decisions surely are based on other considerations like putting quite different songs one behind the other.
With so many ballads this is for sure a difficult matter, so what really made them choose the slot for Hungary may be quite irrelevant or even purely coincidental.

As I said, I think the interpretation of what is a "good treatment" in terms of running order is something the ORF is not even aware of. Its more a playground for fans as there is absolutely no reliable causality of running order and success. That some of the correlations (starting position - place) are quite obvious does not prove that there is a causal link between it. That's the first thing I've learned in the statistic lessons at university.
If you want to have a good laugh about the mistake of taking correlation for cause, go to that page http://www.tylervigen.com

I'm feeling exactly the same. My top 10 changed a bit, and I gave Hungary 1 point in the ranking game (maybe I'll give more). I've been complaining about the lack of uptempo songs in the selection season, but if I have to choose between bad uptempos that we got, and well-produced and lovely ballads, I choose ballads. I think Hungary won't qualify, but I keep my fingers crossed for them!

It's a pretty song but my worry it will be too simple to have any impact. It will be forgotten after Belarus has sung. Lovely harmonies though. 1 point.
