how do you know?

Didn't you watch DAS! on NDR today? ;)

She mentioned it at the end of the show.
She had also a break-dance-battle with one technican at the aftershow party on thursday.

She's kind of adorable although I don't like her stage character.
But if she smiles a bit more during the performance I'm pleased. :D

Oh Germany ...
It has been revealed that Kümmert was even winner with both songs... that's what we know about the results of round 2:
1. Heart of Stone
2. Home is in my Hands
3. Black smoke
4. Jump the gun
5. ??
6. ??
7. ??
8. ??

I'm gonna puke xpuke WHO THE HELL VOTED FOR HIM? I must be one of the very few who absolutely hated his performances/songs then...

The good news is that Ann Sophie was with both of her songs above the rest of the competitors. xyaay

Didn't they say last year, that it's even possible, that two songs from the same artist could advance for the final round? xthink

WOW Kümmert must be crazy ... It's not his fault, it's ours according to him:
"To all the people that are hating on me now: I'm not quite sure what you try to archive with that?! Do you really think I'm going to stop just because some people don't like what I'm doing? Dream on! I'am a musician and I'll always be one! Your statements confirm my opinion towards this society. You all do perfectly fit in this machine. [...]"

No apology, no regret - That's the true face of him. And I'll say it again: His participation was just PR. Nothing more nothing less. Goodbye to his career!

no they said this year that it would be boring if only one artist would compete with his 2 songs in the superfinal . Thank god for that decision :D

Better translation would be "who are insulting me here". And he also added "these insults are the worst kind".

On the one hand I'm just like "Hello, it's Facebook, you just get these kinds of messages there, welcome in the real world". But even if it's like that everywhere, especially in high-emotional-situations, it doesn't mean it's a good thing, even he deserves civilized criticism.

But I'm totally with you that he should post an explanation and an apology. But total silence from him...

And what he doesn't deserve either are all these praising comments and all these "respect"-comments. Drives me crazy. Accepting it from a human point of view, sure, but viewing it as something that is a good thing?

Yeah you're right ... the translation was not the best :D
It took about 3 days to calm myself down - but after this Facebook-post ... srsly he such an idiot (sorry).
I read a few of the comments but I needed to stop ... I would probably explode if I have to hear more of him or people who are defending him. My temperament ...

To me it sounds like a comment out of the desperation of a man who realises that he doesn't stand a chance anymore in the industry, and he cannot accept it. He probably is just an egoist, and attack is, for some people, a way of protection, so he might have this this spur of the moment because of confusion. Even though the words he says are pointed to others,in the end they might be just an accusion to himself, subconsciously.

You're not alone, i still cannot understand how the hell he won.
It was unbelievibal: 80% voted for him. But count me out, please. I was annoyied by his dull songs.

Ann Sophie is going to perform at Eurovision in Concert this year in Amsterdam
It's the first time that Germany will take part at this show. ;)

That's great news.

Mr Kümmert sound way too rude for someone who fooled the public. No grace, #noshame, no career.

Black Smoke flops in comparison to the other German entries ... while being sold at 0.69€ (normal 1.29€ I think) it fell from 3 in the weekend to now 17/18. I fear it won't chart in the top 20 which would mean the worst position since "Let's Get Happy". :(

2003: did not chart
2004: 1
2005: 20
2006: 1
2007: 7
2008: 4
2009: 20
2010: 1
2011: 2
2012: 3
2013: 6
2014: 4

Well, the international feedback to "Black smoke" is really uplifting :)
Watched about 25 youtube-rankings and Ann Sophie's average rank is 8th - I know this may not mean the world but it's nice to see that Europe seems to like the song!

Unfortunately the circumstances surrounding Ann Sophie's victory have probably tarnished the chart performance of her song....lots of people won't download it out of protest.
Doesn't change the fact it is a super song though!
