All structure of a song is copied from the song "Euphoria"! As Tooji was a clone Saade, so Cascada is Loreen's clone. We remember Tooji's place? This place will be taken this year by Loreen's clone! Sorry.

I don't think Tooji was a clone of Saade and I will never understand the comparison. It seems the comparison relies on the fact that they are both young males with some mid-east background doing uptempo dance-pop representing Scandinavian nations in ESC... but other than that the songs are quite different from eachother imo. I also prefer Tooji's song way more than Saade's, but Eric did a better performance though.

I'm so sorry guys, but "Glorious" has "Euphoria" written all over it, and not in a good way.

Your opinion is your opinion. I'm not saying Cascada didn't go into the studio and decided to make a Euphoria 2.0, but it doesn't sound like a clone. I get quite annoyed at people making out Loreen is God's gift. I like Euphoria a lot, I won't deny that, but I always said from the start - it's not a revolutionary piece of pop music. It's a generic dance song with an intriguingly dark production and interesting performance. I won't really go into any more detail about it. I'm not denying the fact Euphoria and Glorious are similar, they are, albeit not identical. But I'm also saying Euphoria is not as original as you guys think it is! People need to stop bashing other artists and worshiping Loreen like she is the creator of the universe (she didn't even write Euphoria, or produce it just fyi), 2013 is a new year. Enjoy the music!

It was interesting for me to listen to her German though, as she's Swedish and just like me she studied German. She's obviously studied more than I've done (afterall she lives there now), but her accent was pretty obvious.

She speaks German really well. Her accent is so cute xlove After the national final she said that she is happy with her result as she was a newcomer and therefore more people got to know her :)

Regarding Cascada: Even if one doesn't like the song one has to admit that the participation in the national final was a huge success for Cascada. Whereas Glorious stayed around #150 in the iTunes charts before the national final, now she is at #4 and almost every radio station has "Glorious" in its heavy rotation.

Oh ! Let's quit Euphoria.
In the non Eurovision world, Euphoria is already forbidden.
The audience won't have Euphoria in mind, all the more as the song is the opposite : Euphoria is mysterious and dark. Glorious is powerful and glittering...
It's just the opposite.

That said, one won't forbid anyone to sing some dance after the winning of Euphoria !

Well, I'm not denying her German knowledge, it's just interesting that even I hear her accent although I'm not a fluent or native German speaker myself :) So maybe Swedish German accents are "cute" then

I must say, from a commercial and credibility aspect it's obviously a good thing if established acts enter the contest or atleast if the acts' entries becomes hits... It's just helping the contest to be a relevant force in music (which is something it has always struggled to be)... but still from a musical perspective, I would have preferred someone else.

'If Cascada I sang the song later 5 years, can be it not so would compare to Loriin! But listen to the song Cascada's right after Loreen and you will hear that this nearly one and too! I am not Loreen's fun, therefore this song for me is secondary!

LaBrassBanda want to participate again in the German national final 2014. There you go guys
If they have a better song, ok. But not again with something like Nackert, for me by far the worst song of the evening. xpuke So glad the jury voted against it.

LaBrassBanda is cool for Oktoberfest. But in the frame of Eurovision, it's just a huge mess. Eurovison is a strict format. It doesn't let you improvisation...

And that would jut have been perceived like Guildo Horn... Or a stereotype of German drinking beers in Bayern... Not the image Germany should spray around...

When the jury gave the point to Labrass-whatever there was a big "roar of relief" going around in the audience and I was like "Yeeeah" :D
Thank god there is a Jury! "Nackert" was just a bunch of noise live and I don't really get why they scored so high in the Radio- and Televoting.
Cascada is the "right" choice for Germany (although I would prefer Blitzkids mvt.), the song is good and Natalie sounds great live but ... she needs a new dress ;)
There is a massive "****-storm" in the german media against both, Cascada and the jury, while it seems like europe is quit happy with "Glorious"...kind of strange but as usual we germans just like to moan about our entries!

Eurovision a strict format? Last I checked Eurovision wasn't just a pop contest, and the whole idea is songs representing their countries... so actually LaBrassBanda would make sense in the Eurovision format...

Now, I wouldn't want them to win with that song, but I do find it sad that people have come to the conclusion that Eurovision somehow is a Anglovsion pop contest... which is actually pretty far from Eurovision's actual concept.

I think you're doing them an injustice. Sure, "Nackert" isn't exactly the greatest song ever, but these guys are really great musicians and they've played shows all over Europe (as well as overseas), including some of the big festivals like Roskilde and Sziget. They probably got a lot of their votes from the indie and rock crowd.

I was a bit disappointed with last night's show. Out of my 3 favourites, only Saint Lu performed faultlessly a very rich, interesting song. I was sorry she didn't get the votes it deserved, it would have been a worthy winner for Germany. Ben Ivory couldn't sing and I'm mystified as to the jury's criteria that managed to give him some points. Die Priester could have done something big, but what they did was rather underwhelming instead.
Pity pity pity :(

The online pre performances voting was, as I had suspected it could be, utterly ridiculous. I wasn't aware such blind voting even existed, in a final at least.

The winning song is ok, catchy and energetic, though it's hardly the best she's done, and she can definetely pull it through. I didn't like the staging though, it was all too pink for me, and her dress was most unbecoming to her rather plump figure. It made the whole thing look a bit tacky and camp, all a bit cheap really.

All in all, I give it 7 points.

To be honest the online voting wasn't that ridiculous as LaBrassBanda has a huge fan base over here, came second in the televoting and is currently charting at #5 whereas Cascada is at #3.

Regarding the staging of Glorious and Natalie's dress: She already confirmed that they will completely revamp the staging and she will also most likely change her dress for the ESC final :D

What's bad about dance music? I LOVE it.
Absolutely nothing. I love to dance to dance music. :) However, it's hard to make dance music unique and original, just like this song. I enjoy listening to it, but nothing original here that will get my vote in the finals.

Actually, I think you (and others here) underestimate dance music a bit. Surely, the point is to make it possible for people to dance to, but dance music doesn't have to be unoriginal, cheap or generic.
