It's the media and some die hard fans whining and being sore losers. Even those who don't like juries can't deny the fact that Cascada won the televote so it is the people's will.

It's funny that these people truly believe LaBrassaBand would do better in Malmo. Their music isn't original, either. It's something I can hear at any Octoberfest gathering, it just wasn't really something to be put on the ESC stage. The vast majority of Europeans would have been incredibly confused and turned off by that.

Just wait a few days and things will calm down. It happened many times before so I wouldn't be worried.

You can't imagine the shitstorm here in Germany. I've never even seen so much hate against an artist like today against Natalie... This is so unbelievable unfair... Just because of this I wish Cascada to do very well in Malmö, so that she can beat all the critics.

Who says that ???
It reminds me when Patricia Kaas entered ESC, journalists all laughed at her...

To these guys: Remeber Slovenia 2010, Remember Austria 2005 / 2012: Noone in Europe cares of this kind of Traditional Music or dialects.

Normally I would agree on that but the hate in media is huge like never before!
I am not worried .... I am sad and kind of angry because this whole discussion gets very "dirty" and unfair ! It's an insult to the really good show and those who worked hard to deliver us a entertainment!
To be honest I am not proud to be german at the moment!

I don't live in Germany so I can't see it first hand but the online reaction is almost identical to previous years.
At least it means that people still care about the contest, otherwise they wouldn't be upset. So let them cry and complain....

Yes, it was never that bad as this year. In other years, there were many dislikers. But this year, it is pure hate against such a sympathic person like Natalie is. Poor Germany. They are just jealous.

A little too generic for me. Sounds like any and every other dance song released in the past decade. It's not horrible, but it's not something I see myself listening to when the contest is over.

Y asi, Narodnozabavni rock and Woki mit deim Popo are musical diamonds compared to Nackert.

May till now: Lena as a "national icon "(Quote: Yesterday's NF)

I must of missed something. xthink

Well, although I agree with the outcome of the radio vote for the reasons stated above I do not think it is a fair procedure. I would "trust" the televote if the lines hadn't been kept open until the points of the other two voting parts were announced (and biased Anke would not have emphatically asked the viewers to vote against the standings in case they didn't agree). Without knowing detailed numbers it is now impossible to figure out whom the majority wanted to go to Malmö. Anyway, I'm 99.99% sure that there won't be a revote. The system, however, was a huge flop and I hope it won't be used again.

I agree that the voting system was kinda dumb. Drop the radio vote and continue with 50/50...it just makes more sense. And my suggestion: Have more than just 5 jurors. Have five groups of five jurors and combine their votes to one full set of votes.

Today in Bavarian Radio, someone says, that Cascade definetely won't win in Malmö and that he don't know why Germany send such a Non-German Song. And this i didn't get: painted toenails? taken by a stranger? Satelites? What these things have to do with Germany, and by the way: In the NF we had two Austrian Competetors, A Russian-american Couple, a bavarian Band (so not representative for whole germany), a swedish-german girl, the only "German" acts, were Mobilee, Mia Diekow, Ben Ivory, Blitzkids, Söhne Mannheims, and Finn Martin (So Place 3,6,7,8,11,12) The only one to "represent" us were Söhne Mannheims, but their Song was quite bad. The only german songs became 3rd, 9th, 12th

:at: 2012 and traditional music? :at: 2005 looked a bit weird due to the the Spanish-English-yodel-mix and :sl: 2010 was simply weak. Just because a genre once (or more times) had been badly executed it doesn't mean a good entry in the same style could not succeed. Or doesn't Europe care for pop music no longer because Anggun's song ended up with nul points last year? Also, Nackert shareth way more similarites with :tr: 2004, :md: 2005 or :md: 2012 IMHO than with the ones that you mentioned.
