He would never do such a thing.
He was there as a juror, only.

Yeah, I am not defending Sweden again, but maybe he simple didn't like the song?! Why would he like it just beacause all people here like it! I hate conspiracy theories...

Bjorkman didn't care much about the winner of the show, he just gave his points to his favorites like all the other judges, that's all. Maybe the song grew in him and now it's his favorite, who knows?

I hope that we won't perform between 2nd and 6th, as these spots are USUALLY provided to countries, which didn't do well in their semi finals.

I was in Madrid last Saturday and this felt like the winning performance. "Amar pelos dois" vibes all the way with the French entry :D

In my opinion, :fr: is a very strong contender this year along with :ee:. I highly doubt that :il: will easily beat both of them.

I don't believe that the running order has such a big influence. If it's awesome then it's gonna win in any case.
If Björkman puts them first... ok, we're going to vote them straight and ghey to the victory from the first place then xshrug

I don't have faves at all this season :? but I'm rooting towards MM.

Yes, it was the general opinion going around - and also that Madrid was the best pre-party - It would be so nice if Eurovision were to take place there next year; but I don't think "tu canción" is the best song this year. Maybe if the winning country can't do it, Spain will volunteer instead of the UK, as usual.:p

I tell you, France's momentum has been growing at a steady pace! I bet it won't be long now till MM passes Mikolas in the odds

Yes, he went to all pre-parties, and people seems to get already bored with his highschool douchebag with backpack look and performance. :D

I was not impressed by this when it was chosen, but I get it now. I think France can actually win this year.

I admit it, IT TOOK ME A WHILE, but... yeah, I don't only like this, it's my favorite this year.

One of my criticism was that it was a little too cold and detached for such a sensitive topic, but now I think I can see why that was brilliant; see, if it was sung in a more melodramatic way, it would have been seen as way too over the top: the theme of the song is already a touchy one, you don't need to over-sell it, if that was done, it would have been seen as manipulative or trashy.

Singing in such a low-key way, well, makes the emotive connection feel more sincere. And yeah, French lyrics, not everybody will understand it, but... I don't know, I think this really sells pretty well the message; I had no idea what it was all about, but I felt it was something emotive, and I was right.

So, could it win? Well, it's unlikely, but feels a little more possible than when it was selected.

Last year, Italy was the big favorite, the song and the video went viral, but the problem was that it might have been way to early, so when the contest actually started, the mania and the hype already peaked and it was going downhill from there; this is the opposite: it's rising, and it could reach a pretty high point.

The problem is that, Israel doesn't seem to decline; if the song was picked earlier, maybe, but the hype around it is still going strong... but that's another topic, just wanted to share my two cents about the French entry.

Okay I'm starting to think France might win lol. The song itself is great and I think it sounds like a winner.

The political issue it is discussing is no longer prominent so I don't think it will affect people's feelings towards this entry... people who agree with the message won't vote for it just because of that, and people who don't agree with it won't not vote for it just because of that.

Why did it suddenly start climbing in the odds? Why so randomly?

It's a good song. Well, one of the best this year. And I wouldn't mind it winning at all. But why now?
