He's now my favorite, as usual France sends my favorite entries, but he overpassed my expectatives (Now i'm in my 15 listen i dont get tired of listening to this masterpiece xheart xheart xheart xheart xheart

The unique one who can demote him form being my 1st is Ace Wilder if she wins in Sweden, as she has an assured 1st place in my ranking and that can provoke a Back to back for Sweden.

The staging will be revealed on March 12th during a tv show (The "Le DiCaire Show" on France 2), which would have been basically the actual premiere had the secret about the artist chosen been kept. :D And Amir said they've been working on the staging and technology on offer in Stockhom since February or something, so they truly seem to seek a staging that fits the song.

Tuorem, I totally forgot that you're a French. Well, to congratulate you. This year (up till now) France and Italy are my top 2 and if nothing better gets elected, I think France is in the run for win. Btw, is Amir an Israeli, or at least Jewish? I'm asking because of his name... I have nothing against Jews/Israelis, just to make it clear.

I'm glad that you like our entry :p (even though I'm not fond of it myself) and I hope Italy will choose its entry wisely, Francesca seems promising as a singer. In addition to that, she followed the contest lately and she's aware the visual aspect is as important as the music, so I'm also looking forward to what she'll come up with ;)

Yes, you found it out on your own, Amir is jewish/of Israeli descent. If Israel does not give us 12 points, our delegation will be disappointed for sure

I think this is without a doubt the best song so far... It's completely polished, catchy, fresh, current and modern radio Top 40 folk-pop. Wow, France. Everything about this sounds like quality. And it's not a grower song in my opinion, you either appreciate it and get it from the first listen or you don't and I have a feeling it's going to be the first case for most people, which is perfect. I hope this is rewarded as it should... xlove

EDIT: To continue.... I mean, is it a bit plastic? Sure. It doesn't make me feel that much although 'it should', it's not unique or particularly captivating in it's excellence and obviously when the French broadcaster had an epiphany last year that they gotta change their ways they turned their heads to the winner.... It's Heroes 2.0 in a way. :D But I gotta give credit where credit is due, this song just is near perfect and ticks all the right boxes. And I don't think it's disingenuous per se, it's flowing, warm, full of detail, nice. This takes "Heroes" and does it even better imo.

I really like Amir; seems like a very able singer; live singer to be more correct. I love the verses of this song - but I am not to fond of the yoouuuuuu - partly because it's english, but mostly because I have never liked those kinds of "whining"... But all in all this is VERY decent. 7. That might turn into an 8.

Well considering that fact that France has been stuck bottom 5 for the past few years I'd say top 20 is an improvement that most would take (even if we hope for better)

Could say the worst performing country in eurovision over the past few years. This year will surely change that though. :D

i hope we won't win with this song but he deserves a 15th place (or around), i'm so afraid to go on french esc-related forums right know because they can get really mad at our entry and get so delusional.
reminds me of "sognu" when they really thought it was winning and the big disappointment just after (same with Echo).

I do think this song deserves better than 15th or around. Perhaps not a victory, but definitely Top 10, if not Top 5 (depending on the songs that are still to be chosen)

Bless em'. They should follow the British fan's example and just completely give up hope and complain about everything.

Trust me, the French Jews that are moving to Israel lately in great numbers will vote this for sure... I bet France will get a lot of points this year.

As for France (and Italy) being again contenders for victory: finally ESC will move to some other place than ex-USSR or Scandinavian state. It would be really great to have ESC next year in Paris. Damn, I bet French would do their best to make it unforgetable :)

They already have and do but they do it in a more low key snooty way  The British do it by acting like their having Armageddon panic attacks. Much more entertaining

i also think he does, but doubtful. Would it be another country - Amir`s song would be a certain top 10, imo. Always loved France entries, every single one deserved so much better than they got.

This is nothing like Sognu. Sognu flopped tragically cuz the guy was so damn nervous on the stage, screwing the whole song. Besides, it was a weird operetta, I never liked it much. But this year French are confidant of high score with reason. And then again, I cannot say the same about Belgium this year, sorry.
