If you were Turkey, I'd have tried to convice you to return to the contest right from the start.

Imo, he sang very well during the third season of 'The Voice' and that was amazing how he sounded auto-tuned whereas he wasn't actually..

I don't get it.
Didn't the host country was meant to choose its own performance's (for the g. final) draw before all the draws of both SF1&SF2 were made?

I'm not sure about it..it's not my style, it's incredibly commercial, but I think it might grow on me. The staging was annoying, I think with a good concept this could be one of my surprises from this year.

Of course it was.
However, this wasn't performed in the O2 Arena nor the Arena of L'Olympia, then the staging was pretty basic.

It's a big let down imo, but I disliked their last year entry too, still it was a bit better!

Seriously, I have never had a French entry among my favorites to win. However, this song is really special. I think that France will do very well this year. Unless Russia and/or Australia come up with something phenomenal, I think that the only threat for France will be Latvia, Poland (if they choose Margaret, ofc) and maybe Ukraine.

Well, the forum's found it's least-hated entry, at least. There are some other entries with more 12s and 10s, though, and I'd say those matter more in calling something a favourite. Will be interesting to see where this comes in the ranking game though.

Atm France has the highest point average of 8.992. Latvia is second with 8.41 followed by Cyprus / Bosnia&Herzegovina with exaxtly the same stats and 8.35 avg. Before the zero-pointer (I hope I did not provoke that one ) they were on 9+. The song may not have the most die-hard fans but is well liked by a significant majority.

The absence of haters is unusual for a fan fav. Seems to have quite an universal appeal, at least here.

This is so nice. I love it for how "inoffensive" it sounds. It sounds like a contemporary radio hit, and that's not a bad thing. This is definitely one of the better entries this year.

Instead of throwing 20 semi finals (Lithuania) and 20 copies of the same schlager tune (Sweden), France came up with a young artist, worked on the song and impressed everyone ....... I would so want them to be near the top for once.
For as long as I remember they have been underrated.
Hope Amir will change things around for them.
