What next? Maybe a Fredrik Kempe song to complete the picture? This is precisely what I both feared and expected. It really pains me to see Finland slap their national talents and give up on all originality to qualify.

I like monsters more than domino.
However, I think Domino will appeal to more people when sung live.
Finland is notorious for killing campy songs that are not sung well live.
So I guess Domino stands higher chance to win UMK at this point.
Kudos to her for doing her homework well, preparing a videoclip for each song and promoting them.
She is taking this seriously.

I'm assuming the third song is going to bring it because so far the first two haven't. "Domino" I find inoffensive, much like her first song, but it goes in one ear and straight out the other. The lyrics about wrecking balls and dominoes are banal at this point. If these are the best two then i'd MUCH, much rather she go with the campy euro club one. I'd add that to my playlist at least and give it a chance. "Monsters" isn't bad. I still find it hard to see how she's going to fulfill fans high hopes though.

I agree. The fan hype is passing me by. It's 2 very generic, cliched modern pop songs that do Saara's voice no credit. She is far better than this. I hope the 3rd is a powerful ballad that makes use of her voice, but I doubt it.

I expect a lot of fans will have their expectations crushed in May. Finland favourites to win? Do me a favour.

Out of the 2, I prefer "Dominoes" because I can actually finish it in one sitting and it actually has something that resembles a working chorus.

guys i am so worried about saara

the thing is, she is destined to finish second, even against herself, so obviously the best song of the three will finish second at saaravision. monsters is way better than domino, so if the third song isn't the best, i don't see how monsters wins. and that lgbt halloween tropical house masterpiece absolutely needs to go to eurovision and finish second. i am nervous about saara's preordained destiny not panning out.

OH NO monsters is still the best song now it won't go to eurovision!!!!!!!!

but queens is very good too and if sweden sent it, the juries would absolutely put it in the top 5, so i am not upset if it wins

I think Monsters will win but Domino would definitely get her a higher place. It's a much better song and sounds more current despite sounding cliche.

Perhaps the older audience will help Domino win though?

Ok another generic LGBTqixyzetc... anthem, not surprised as the songtitle Queens suggested it. Bland.

I think Saara has not found her music identity, she's tried so many different styles through these years and suddenly thought that a camp generic song might work in Eurovision because it's a spring gay fest. Wrong! She said in an interview that her team chose three songs that "could work for Eurovision". I think that's a mistake, instead of choosing something that is actually "hers".
She will certainly do well among eurofans in the euroclub in Lisbon and ESC social media... good for her, she's got the support of a bubble, but I'm afraid that won't be enough.

Bloody hell. I don't care what the "stans" say, not one of those songs is good enough. They should send "Domino", but the release schedule indicates they want "Monsters" to go. Overall 3 generic pop songs.

UMK scrapped...for this?

I don't dislike any of these songs, and based on the studio versions my order of preference is: 1) Monsters (top 5 alert), 2) Domino (not quite "Sound of Silence" enough... yet) and then, 3) Queens (potential for staging but a tad dated).

Of course it all comes down to how these work live... let's see!

'Queens' could be magnificent.. The beginning is a masterpiece! Then the song lacks power and she looks like a cheap version of already cheap Katy Perry.

I'm thinking...if Elize Ryd from Amaranthe spent a week on it and remastered the sh*t out of 'Queens', this would easily slay TOP3 with rocky/metal version. For now it's too bland.

All three songs are below expectations, unfortunately.
Monsters are the best, but nothing special
