I vaguely liked Monsters, but Domino just feels bland. Really, incredibly, amazingly bland. Saara Aalto has a good amount of potential; please don't go with this one, Finland!

I know this is more "basic" than "Monsters", but I must say that I like "Domino" quite a lot. Very Swedish popschlager, but it is enjoyable. Since Monsters has grown on me, I really don't know which one I prefer, but I like both at least.

I like Domino, I think it's an alright song but the 'DOMINOOOOOO, HIT LIKE A DOMINOOOOO' part or whatever it is she says is rather underwhelming. I'm really enjoying Monsters much more now than I did on my very first listen and it's clear that one is superior to this.

I enjoy "Domino" and I dare say it probably suits Saara's voice better but I would rather have "Monsters" as I think it would allow for a much more dynamic performance and it is slightly more instant for me

What is it with Saara Alto and those awful high pitched vocals in the backtrack of her songs :? Domino is not as good as Monsters but no matter what gets picked, Finland is looking like a massive fan flop this year

Domino is nice enough, but completely blown out of the water by Monsters. The video is a lot better though.

I'm assuming the third song is going to bring it because so far the first two haven't. "Domino" I find inoffensive, much like her first song, but it goes in one ear and straight out the other. The lyrics about wrecking balls and dominoes are banal at this point. If these are the best two then i'd MUCH, much rather she go with the campy euro club one. I'd add that to my playlist at least and give it a chance. "Monsters" isn't bad. I still find it hard to see how she's going to fulfill fans high hopes though.

Was not really feeling "Monsters" at first release, but it's growing on me some. "Domino" is kinda charming in its clumsiness but also just really hard to sit through.

I'm in the same boat – I'd prefer Monsters out of what we've got so far, but I'd rather see something a little more original, along the lines of her UMK attempt No Fear but more polished. I don't much like to think that she's tried different quirky styles over the years but now, when given the chance to send whatever she wants, goes with three safe mainstream pop songs.
Hoping for something good from the third song to justify Saara's selection, the fan hype and Finland's short odds.

What next? Maybe a Fredrik Kempe song to complete the picture? This is precisely what I both feared and expected. It really pains me to see Finland slap their national talents and give up on all originality to qualify. As you say, since it was an Aalto's NF, they could have gone bolder and worked with unusual songwriters... It wouldn't have hurt anybody
In the end, I wonder what would be satisfying for them about her scoring well in Lisbon: they have a singer who seems to be a blank canvas for pretty much any song, and they called on Swedes virtually everyone has bought a song from in the past ten years already. Anyone can do what they're doing right now. If that is what quality music is supposed to be according to Yle, then I think the Finnish hopefuls definitely shouldn't take it personally and question their own talents.

My main issue with Saara is her lack of identity. Her talent and versatility are proven, but what has she offered as a trademark or as an artist herself more than great control of her vocals and theatrical performances? I think Saara is a tailored singer for talent shows, where she can build up a support based on her singing skills and personal story weeks after weeks, but in Eurovision you gotta give it all in 3 minutes, so they thought is a good idea to summit all in mainstream songs about her sexuality.
