I don't think :ua: will withdraw, wiki should always be taken with a grain of salt...

I saw an article on oikotimes (yeah not much support again but sure) a while back saying that NTU was heavily in debt to the EBU. again, that must be taken with a skeptical view

excuse me, but where exactly have you found this out?

yes, it's true that RTVSLO has been very disapointed with our results this year, but ESC and EMA or Misija Evrovizija in the past were, and are still the most viewed TV shows every year.

as for our participation next year, RTVSLO only said, that everything will be known around november/december, when they will make a plan for the next years programme sheme. they said nothing about confirming our participation or withdrawing from the contest, so there still is a hope for us

Oh god why did I say RTVSLO I mean, The Slovak broadcaster xrofl3

sorry Kaja!

The situation in RTP is better now, and all the channels will be mantained. The only bad thing for RTP currently is their awful ratings (except in football maches ).
I'm pretty sure we'll be returning.

Yup ESCKaz originally run the article based on what the Ukraine press had said. The press said NTU need to pay fees of 3 million to the EBU by the end of August or they will suspend their membership. Andy is under the impressions that there is no way they will be able to get near to that figure

Maybe yes, but it's only two months after Eurovision and national broadcasters must check their budgets.

How long does it take the UK to confirm usually. This is the first year ive followed it. Is the UK an early one, or one of those right on the deadline.

^^ The second option.

Based on the previous experience, nothing should be expected before the beginning of 2014.
