Forever protecting fair play in the eurovision.

What would we do without him? Thank all gods, he knows the true spirit of the contest

It's off-topic but, am I the only one who get annoyed when he takes the floor during the final to say all votes have been correctly checked? I mean he has been the executive supervisor for four years now but he is still searching for words to announce the same thing :?

As BNT confirmed?

The current General Director of the broadcaster confirmed as she said that they are CURRENTLY working on a new project for song selection under reality show. She is hot favourite to be re-elected as General Director, the other main contender also says that Bulgaria will stay in the contest (but he has not very high chances to win over Mrs Ankova) ;)

Do you think Turkey will return? Because from what ive read and heard there seems to be A LOT of doubt about it.

According to Oikotimes a "secure source" said RTP will announce their returnal in August or September. Then again Oikotimes ain't that reliable
I do think we'll return though.

Am I the only person who thought the attitude of the Turkish broadcaster was extremely arrogant and hypocritical?
I loved Turkey's entries, don't get me wrong, but seeing the tantrum they threw and the votes they give, I really don't miss them.

Well, isn't ESC the ultimate manifestation of western decadence, cultural decline and complete commercial surrender? It's possible the conservative/religious/nationalistic rulers of Turkey thought it is neither suited for Turkish praxis nor worth the effort and valuable Turkish TV time. Now they can concentrate on showing real genuine Turkish traditions, teach healthy manners and protect the Turkish country from corrupting foreign influence. xup

I feel the same way.. I don't understand why they kicked up a big fuss. They are one of the most successful Eurovision countries. I have to admit that I do miss them very much however. I hope they come back.
